Dig through the menus. There may be settings to set the max climb/descent rate when using the motion controller (it's there for the Avata 2, and they're defaulted to fairly low values).
@MaxSMoke7772 ай бұрын
@@daemn42 that is the first things I did. It really does only have two vertical speeds listed in a motion controller, slow and unbelievably slow. The vertical climb when using the RC isn't limited like the motion controller.

@@MaxSMoke777 Pull up the motion controller more. Vertical speed in the settings is for the joystick up/down.

saw a reviewer, sport mode went 15 to 18 MPH, Manual mode went 30 mph. Also Montion controller 3 doesn't allow you to go into manual.

Yup, those are all things I know.

Have you tried it in manual mode ?
@MaxSMoke777Ай бұрын
There are a couple of videos of me trying that. The Neo is rather underpowered, and actually shockingly fragile at full speed. I almost killed it in just two crashes. I think you need to be MORE experienced to fly it manual, as compared to other whoops, not less. Great pilots can do alright with it, but I'm only a novice at this point.

How did you link it
@MaxSMoke7772 ай бұрын
You pair the controller with the headset. The headset handles everything, like a keyboard hooked up to a computer. The headset is the computer. All other controllers are just peripherals to the headset, at least in the DJI sphere of components.

@MaxSMoke777 Is there only one motion controller that can be used with it?Or are there others?And which one are you using
@unkyduck2 ай бұрын
@@ToddtheLoneDroner DJI certainly doesn't make this clear. Maybe changing too fast.
@MaxSMoke7772 ай бұрын
@@ToddtheLoneDroner The Neo only works with the newest motion controller, the newest RC controller, but can work with latest or last generation phone-based controller (where you put the photo into the controller). It's DJI RC-N3, DJI RC-N2, DJI RC 2, DJI RC Motion 3, and DJI FPV Remote Controller 3. They might add more support later, but they are trying to sell more NEW hardware, so extra compatibility with older stuff is on the backburner.

Yes, but honestly, as loud as this drone is, someone would hear it long before it gets to them. But that being said, I would recommend an open space and not a complex.
