Following you Rick!! You are the only one motovlogger who I found has justified this new action cam with tuning setting, use of ND filter and clean color grading. Hoping with firmware updates and better bitrate, production quality will go much higher.

how good are the voice commands for starting/stopping the OA5 on the move? Gopro has excellent voice commands on the go and insta360 sucks.

Is it possible to connect 1 lav mic directly wired to the camera and 1 DJI mic at the same time?

I have a symptom of blurred or blurred images. The osmo action 5pro I purchased has the same symptoms. The osmo action 5pro was accidentally damaged and the unit was replaced by Care Refresh, but it still has the same symptoms. The osmo action 3 and osmo action 4 have no such symptoms. What are the settings, resolution, frame rate, angle of view, image stabilization, shutter speed, ISO, WB, etc. for this shot? See also my setup. The mount is a motorcycle helmet mount. 4k 16:9 24p, ultrawide, rock steady, 1/25, 1/50, ISO100-12800, WB 5600 produced these blurring symptoms. I also had symptoms of blurring at 4k 16:9 25p, ultrawide, rock steady, 1/25, 1/50, ISO100-12800, WB 5600. I had blur symptoms at 4k 16:9 60p, ultrawide, rock steady, 1/60, 1/120, ISO100-12800, WB5600. Has anyone else had the same symptoms?

Buddy, the whole thing doesn't look very good. The Action5 isn't really designed for fast movements, at 25mph it gets muddy. It's perfectly normal that the battery lasts a long time with a bitrate of 25-50. But you can see what it looks like in the end from your video. It's a shame that you want to tell your viewers something different. Even the Action4 did a much, much better job. And just as a little info, GoPro has exactly the same mounting options, even more 😉. You've also forgotten that the Hero13 is the only action cam on the market that delivers up to a bitrate of 200.

I’m just sharing my impressions on the camera , the last clip was at 4K 30 iso 3200 with 16 nd filter That was my fault 🤦♂️ I accidentally changed modes , still getting used to it For the bit rate I’m pretty sure there’s an update coming for that. Go pro colours are great ! Unfortunately I’m just over the overheating and how unreliable they are ! Can only speak on the hero 9 that’s all I’ve had If the go pro had the audio gain and was more reliable I would’ve upgraded to that . I’m happy to sacrifice a little bit of quality for ease of use and reliability I personally think the quality is more than enough for the stuff I’m doing, once I get my settings dial in should look good 👍🏻 Cheers for the comment and I get what your saying

@@Rickontwowheels don’t listen to anyone who says this camera isn’t capable of amazing results. Use these settings for best results: 4K 30, EIS at Rocksteady (not +), Shutter 1/100-1/8000 (this is very important, you can also use quadruple your frame rate to 30FPS at 1/120, 60 at 1/240, etc., Texture at -2, Noise Reduction at -1 or -2. In night mode, you can’t adjust ISO. In normal, all these settings apply but make sure ISO is 100-25000. I would make FOV standard but you could use wide. Color is dealers choice, normal or DLOG 10 bit (which you’ll have to grade o in post or in the app). Hope that helps. I got all these from @fishycomics and @TravelingAhn, as well as @motorcyclesdaily PS: I’m not a GoPro hater, I LOVE my Hero 12! In good light the colors are incredible. But in lower light this camera is INCREDIBLE. Especially with those above settings. The GoPro and the DJI each have a place!

Don’t be butthurt buddy, this camera is actually super nice. I’ve compared the two with a buddy of mine and he made the switch too. The low light is terrible on go pro and he like many others had the problem with overheating. GoPro is just behind now a days and there’s no reason to be hating but they each definitely have their own perks.
@JuiceBiker19 күн бұрын
@edwinao7522 Bro the Action5 Overheat very quickly ON high Bitrate after 37 min. And high was 60.... ON the Hero13 high was 150. Fakts😉. And lowlights.... WHO the hell use LowLight on Actioncam🤣

Hopefully the Jitter gets fixed with a firmware update. I've noticed in all the DJI osmo action 5 videos so far. I have a 3 and it has no jitter nor have I seen it in any 4 videos.
@RickontwowheelsАй бұрын
Dji have say they are releasing a firmware for it soon It’s more noticeable cause I’m running 24 fps Going to do some testing at 60 fps to see how it looks
@notgamingwithmaxАй бұрын
@@Rickontwowheels Sweet. I was going to buy this unit but will wait and see if they fix the jitter with a firmware update. I've seen it in a few videos now but I also saw a guy with a Indian talking about the camera in a video of him riding with no jitter. Oh well fingers crossed.

I was running 24 fps in this video with the low bit rate, I believe is what casing it. New firmware coming soon for the bit rate Should fix it
@cube1czeАй бұрын
@@Rickontwowheels Nope that's not caused by low bitrate or 24 FPS this has to do with rocksteady being on with not enough light coming through to the sensor. Put higher shutter speed on it. DJI officially reccomends 1/200 minimum for rocksteady to work afaik. but i think if you use ND filters with rocksteady and 24 FPS try out not 180°rule thats never gonna work with DJI camera with stabilisation on. but quadruple the shutterspeed i'd try out 4K30 ISO 100-1600 and shutterspeed set to 1/120 see if it gets rid of the jitterness id also try out 4K60 on 1/240 everything ofc. with correct ND filter for the lighning conditions, if you insist on 24FPS try out 4K24 1/96 if it works out better but imo I'd try out options that i would consider the best user friendly one. slap on ND8/ ND16 set the camera on auto mode for shutterspeed EV-0.7 maybe EV-1 ISO 100-1600 if its really bright then 100-800 and just go on with your life, i've been recording onboards for quite a while, and choosing correct ND filter in my area is pain lightning changes every 2 hours so if it would work with auto settings on ND8 you'd still get SOME motion blur that it looks good enough but would work in any conditions due to Auto exposure with max ISO limits. Unfortunately i cannot try it out myself since i dont own the camera and am still waiting with the purchase if DJI comes out with Firmware update for the higher bitrate imo 100mbps is enough however 4K30 on 60 is not great. Cheers mate
