@ZimyDaKid your thoughts on the on-going concerns regarding the massive drop in the Bitrate of Action 5 Pro as compared to the Action 4? At 4k 4:3 30pfs => Action 5 Pro: 60Mbits/s whereas Action 4: 130Mbits/s And @DJI says its for file size optimisation and better battery life, but why is it done at the cost of video quality?

I just discussed with DJI and they confirmed they ll release a new firmware soon with higher bitrate option

@@ZimyDaKid I along with all the other DJI fans really hope that happens. I also found a comment shared on reddit from the DJI's official customer support that they cannot officially confirm about an update yet since they haven't been informed about it as yet by the company. Since they're the customer support team who are not supposed to put out something that's not official yet from the company, maybe that's why they said so. Bcz apparently a guy (by the name of (DJI-ytao I guess) in the DJI forum who apparently holds the DJI R&D Team badge had written that they'll send out an update but DJI's official customer support team refused to endorse the claim from this guy. So reddit is all bustling with discussions on this whole thread of comments and claims, with both optimistic and pessimistic views on the possibility of a firmware update from DJI to address this issue. I hope your source was official enough to turn into reality, haha. Thanks for sharing your views, appreciate it. 🙏🏻

If you're wondering and want to know more, I just post a 30min review of this new action cam and all the shots that are captured on action 5 have a little "shot on action5" logo

@@ZimyDaKid yes, Thats what i said. But I mean, the best part of this video is the non-dji shots ;) and overall, first looks on this camera are little dissapointing. Low bitrates and digital faked wider dynamic range. It’s more like action 4S than anything Pro.
