Stunning I’ve been looking at this camera for a trip to Tenerife in a few weeks time. This upload has been the cherry on the cake to go ahead and purchase the action 3. Thank you very much keep well and keep the great uploads. New sub to your channel from now on.

Thanks for the video and the information on the Osmo. I just got one and would like to know how you set the 2 sec delay for the 60 second shot. Thanks again.

Thanks mate, I wanted to do something a little different. I was also curious on how it would work, very surprised to be honest.

The Osmo action is a great little camera, the fast aperture makes it perfect for night photography
@StevenMorrisPhotography3 жыл бұрын
It most certainly is, I don’t use it as much as I should. The image stabilisation for video is amazing!

great photos! Did you use a filter?
@StevenMorrisPhotography3 жыл бұрын
Hi mate, No filters were used, it’s only a tiny sensor so adding more glass and maybe darker glass will reduce light which will make things a little more difficult

@@StevenMorrisPhotography wow, thanks for replying even though you play with far superior cameras astro. I'm gonna take advantage of living in Arizona by using the red rocks and giant cactus in these photos and time-lapse.

I say push the sensor to the limits regardless of how much they cost they can still achieve good results 😊

Hello Steven, in your personal opinion, do you think Osmo Action would be able to photograph the northern lights?
@StevenMorrisPhotography3 жыл бұрын
You know what I think it just might, the northern lights are brighter than where this image was taken. But overall image size might be a bit small. Overall though I think it can be done also a timelapse would be cool too.

Can you do a video showing us how to get the raw images from the osmo action? I've read that you go into the mimo app and find the pro section but I've never been able to figure that in the app

At the photo mode, swipe the screen from the right to left, you’ll see a setting for which option jpeg or jpeg+raw
@having-fun-while-i-can3 жыл бұрын
@@cjevan9837 I know how to switch to raw photo mode. My issue is I cant find raw photos to download to my phone. I can't find Raw photos that I already shot.
@StevenMorrisPhotography3 жыл бұрын
That might be the issue, all my photos were downloaded to my computer from the SD card. I never used my phone to download raw files so that could be the problem your having. Maybe try and find a computer that you can try and download the files to and see if that works?

I wish they had a nite lapse option like GoPro has built in
@StevenMorrisPhotography3 жыл бұрын
I don’t know too much about GoPro but that sounds like a cool feature.

ISO @ 3200, shutter @ 60 seconds and white balance @ 4000k. No filters.
@StevenMorrisPhotography3 жыл бұрын
That’s correct, the white balance will depend on the shooting conditions and light pollution etc. I took this shot from some of the darkest skies around almost on the middle of Australia

This camera takes very poor exposure photos a special when you shooting stars. I'm the owner and I'm 100% can tell this camera not made for this. 10 seconds or 120 seconds using super steady tripod it'll still blur your photo no matter what. As action camera it does perfect job but not for long exposure. I hope dji osmo action 3 will fix the that.
