All content was shot on the DJI Osmo Action so you can see what the camera is capable of, this is a simple review to show you footage from the camera itself. To be honest when I watch review video's all I really want to see is the actual footage from the camera.

I cant imagine why you only have few subscribers, your work is so beautiful, especially knowing that you are only using the DJI osmo action. thanks appreciate it! Just got myself a Sony a6300 so I can make the astro shots more clean! I just use lumetri colour in Adobe Premiere Pro for grading, just minor changes to be honest the footage is pretty much out of the camera

no colour adjustment no filters. Slight change in lumetri colour in premiere pro for all video footage. I have edited photos in light room so they have had more adjustment.

Excellent video! I have just ordered this camera because of your video and the osmo action seems to be the most capable camera for star lapses. May I ask, did you record those 308 frames with just one battery or did you have an external battery as well?

Bro the osmo 2 is out now, but yes I did use a cheap 40 dollar power bank as well. However the osmo battery will last a long time anyway

Hey there, I don't remember clearly now but when I checked last time there was no option to save timelapses as seperate pictures or freedom to choose file type (jpeg or dng) in the camera menu. When I tried to create a starlapse the osmo action just took pics periodically and created a video file from them on its own. How did you made it create dng files? My result was very grainy, I see that your timelapse looks very clean. I guess that's the benefit or dng?

Good day, It's not time-lapse mode it is photo sequence. Under the photo menu scroll across to timed, there you can manually set how far apart you want your shots and it will take them until it runs out of battery. Once you have selected this mode the menu on the right will be for selecting JPEG and RAW.

Correct, DNG holds more information hence it turns out a lot better than JPEG or video.

thanks, setting for night timelapse: 60 second exposure, 4000k white balance, photo sequence mode 65 seconds between shots. running for 6 hours on external battery pack. Exported DNG files into LRTimelapse and exported at 30 FPS. I hope this helps, please let me know if this works, lower the shutter speed if you want a more crisp image with less star trailing....

HDR can be made on any camera through multiple exposures

noticed that hyperlapse has color control able to use cine d and 10 bit color. But no color control in timelapse mode this makes no sense. Even shooting in raw there is no option for a somewhat flat color for color grading. I though thats what raw means in photography no effects added. Even in raw dji standard color is applied to photoes. Does anybody onow if there going to fix this.
