A couple more features. With the DJI MIC 2 Transmitter there are 2 additional features. Once you have it connected you can use the Link button to trigger your Shutter. Also you can use the power button to activate or turn off the Noise Reduction. Also to get your backup recordings off the DJI MIC 2 you plug it into a computer with usb-c

I also learned that the DJI Mic 2 also functions as a standalone audio recorder. You do have to press the record button to start the backup recording.

I’ll likely watch this several more times, a testament to the depth of features in the new version of the Pocket (I’ve used all of them) and the depth of your instruction. Very comprehensive and well captured. I wish DJI had added the 2nd lens, like the Air 3 as the wide angle view has its limitations. The 15mm super wide is an interesting novelty, but the on-board lens is wide enough, IMO.

The zoom feature is much better than on the Pocket 2. On the Pocket 2 you have to double click and if you are trying to change modes in a hurry you will take it out of zoom. Then when you need zoom it will be moving the camera up and down instead of zooming in. It’s so annoying while you’re recording trying to catch something. The Glamour effect is in the Mimo app for the other pockets once you connect them to your phone. It’s nice to have them on the camera itself now.

Tremendous tutorial, thank you. It's so versatile, but the volume of functions have blown my tiny mind! I don't have the intuitive creativity to think/plan ahead enough to be able to get the most out of it... maybe in time I'd build the skills to justify a purchase. For now, I'm invested in an Insta60 X4 for motion shots and an Action 5 for static/planned shots, which means I don't have to plan and can add the "magic" in post. I need to learn to make the most out of my gear, but at 50+yrs old, it's slow progress!

WOW! That was great. Thank you for detailing each menu step from the main sub group and differentiating each section with clear transitions. This will come in handy when I watch for a second time taking detailed notes by hand. Then I can go back and practice anything I need to solidify physically. Great great job Jeven. You’re really the best creator I follow regarding video.Even if I’m an addicted user of Pocket 1, 2 and now pocket 3 since 3 days, I was glued to your video. I think you pointed all that people need to know about it. I still have some doubts about the custom settings on noise & Sharpness and their advantage . I have to test, but your opinion on that would be great if you plan to continue with Pocket 3. Another doubt is that I didn’t see much difference between Product showcase focus and Continuous as continuous seems to focus easily on very close objects. Is it just a matter of speed ? One point you did not mention and that can be interesting on use is that while recording (and only while recording) if you slide the screen right to left, you have access to EV setting while recording, which is great. Awesome video. Covered everything for me who is new to DJI pocket. Quick question in setting customized program assignment. Can you only set the orientation/resolution/white balance, etc? Can you assign tilt lock/follow/FPV as well to different customized setting? or that has to be done manually? Also, what would be your recommended shooting format for more natural look and also to take into consideration of file size. 4K/30, 4K/60 or 2.7K will be sufficient for most cases when viewed on social media? Excellent training video for the OP3 , as well as, use of gimbal. I am waiting for my to arrive, I am not an expert photographer but by watching your video a couple of times, I believe that I will be able to take some decent videos of my upcoming holiday. Aside from adjusting the exposure down a bit , should I just leave all setting as default? Also I have never use a gimbal but looking at your video for normal holydays video using gimbal horizontal look seem to be the way to go. Appreciate your advice!
