This was a great tutorial! I just bought the DJI Pocket 3 Creator combo last week and was vlogging with it, and I just realized that I lost the wide lens because it must've detached itself when I took the camera out of my purse. I didn't even know it until I was watching this tutorial and couldn't find the lens. So, anyone reading this, if you just bought the creator combo, be aware of the wide lens; it can come off easily.

Hope you get it soon! No need to worry or to be nervous about it, it just takes a bit of time to get used to the Pocket 3 and then the vlogging experience, but I'm sure you will do fine. Nothing is going to be perfect right from the start and as other KZbinr always say, you just have to hit record and you will learn more and more every time. Hope this helps! Let us know how you feel about the P3 after you use it

A. I don’t use that exposure. It was probably changed during the tutorial to explain something but was not intended for anything else B. Just use stereo C. Low cut filters low frequency sounds

In my opinion it's a great upgrade. I've been thinking about making a P2 vs P3, but that might take about 3 weeks from now. The P2 wins in size and weight, it's more discreet and easier to carry around, but the P3 has many things going on. I have a few videos about this camera already in my channel

This is a bit off topic but can you suggest a good extension pole with built in tripod. Also i seem to remember an extension pole that had a cell phone mount so you could use the app when you could not see the camera. Do you know who makes that? Thanks

I've seen those but I can't remember the brand. I usually go with insta360 extensions when I don't need a lot of extra height. Otherwise I've been using a carbon fiber monopod that has some nice legs just to save the day

This is a very informative video with a lot of information in a short period of time. I've discovered that you can change the camera modes by taping on the screen icon and then using the joystick to toggle between them. I've found this easier than swiping.

Hi Otto I find your videos very helpful. I just bought DJI P3 following along your video but my pocket screen at 6:35 (minutes) doesn’t have access to the orientation mode or the active tracking. What have I done wrong I missed how we get those icons to work they are grayed out. Any help is greatly appreciated. I’m a newbie. 😊

Hello! When they are grayed out it means that you can't use them in your current video mode or frame rate, for example tracking doesn't work in low light video mode, and vertical mode only works in regular video mode. I mention some of these problem in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pnbYo59rgK6biKs or you can try to set the video mode to normal and to 24fps to determine from there what doesn't work when you change the different settings or modes

Congrats! I'm happy for you! I didn't cover the naming management but I do use it, I use a custom name for my files (OP3 as in Osmo Pocket 3) So my videos are easier to identify since I work with multiple files. For Video compression there is a mention about it in my next video. But use HEVC if your video editor supports it. It will be auto selected in some cases, for example if you use D LOG M, or some frame rates. h.264 is the standard compression, bigger files but more standard so every video editor and device should be able to play them.

How well do you think this would work to capture myself playing solo acoustic gigs at bars (low light, not much space available) and playing live in my home music space (decent light and more space.). Audio will be captured separately. My alternative would be a camera such as a Sony zv-10 and a wide angle lens such as Sigma 16mm. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

you are most welcome! that setting can be off if you don't want a backup copy of your audio recorded inside the Mic 2 (It has an internal memory). Turn it on if you want that backup copy

PD is Power Delivery, which is the name of the technology. Your charger doesn't have to be 65W, I use most of the time an Anker that has 30W or one that came with a Samsung smartphone a few years ago
