It seems obvious, after all DJI used to have the old Osmo and Osmo + (zoom I have one) and Osmo Pro (changeable MFT lenses) and Osmo Pro Raw (yes raw video at 4K at 2gbps). Frankly I was astonished there was no Pocket Pro at release or CES 2020 with the Mavic Pro 2 1” sensor. I would have bought one without question. As I said I’m on the fence about sending in my broken Osmo + for estimate to repair to DJI vs getting Osmo Pocket.. $100-150 for repair vs new Pocket for $400-500 equipped with new incompatible accessories. That being said my Osmo + is perhaps better than your garbage test camcorder you reviewed more recently. And just a note: The Osmo, Osmo + and Pocket are all closer to a 1/3” chip.... not 2/3” chip. (1/2.3” osmo equal = has 0.43 chip... a 1/3 would really be 0.3333... a 1/2 chip would be 0.5 and a 2/3 chip would be 0.66 inch) So if DJI went with a 1” Mavic 2 Pro it would be a HUGE increase... frankly a 1/2 chip size would be a significant increase. But yes.. a Pocket 2 or pocket 2 Pro would be a welcome addition to my tool set for my project I’m developing.
