hello do you know the maximum distance connecting correctly in wireless ?

Thank You! I’ve been watching these videos. I plan to use this for Thanksgiving and hopefully in January to see my 1 year old great niece for the first time. The video is easy to follow.

Please note you will lose all audio in using it. So you will need to either modify the adaptor and or voice over.

thanks for the video , is it possible to keep the pan in one direction without moving ?

You do not need to buy a Wifi Tripod Adapter, because if you already have a phone mount (which is a must have) then you can use it as a tripod adapter together with your wifi module. With the difference that you don't have a mobile phone stuck in the adapter or in the osmo pocket + you also get another mounth for an mic
@allsportsexpert3 жыл бұрын
Too bad it does not have the 1/4 screw at the bottom to connect to the tripod, instead we have to buy an adaptor
@MacauCheers5 жыл бұрын
thanks for sharing your tips. Is there a way to get better audio recording while the wifi adapter is plugged in? because it is covering the mic at the bottom? thank you very much!
@Otravistafoto5 жыл бұрын
first DJI stupid thing was not to include wifi into the camera (are they part of apple?) and then for the aditional cost of around 60 euro you have to purchase that wifi module which doesn't even contain the tripod screw. I am definitely against this kind of practices.
@series25a5 жыл бұрын
They are not part of Apple but they work with Apple. Also as a business that's how you make more money is buy putting extra features such a wireless module. If you don't like that idea then deal with it.

V2 will probably have it built in, I’ll try to hold off until then.

Can I connect a microphone to the Pocket with a WiFi base connected? If not what is the solution. Thanks.

Inspire Life I don’t believe you can. You might try using a field recorder and sync in post production.

Nope. Pls note timestamp 00.55. It doesn't at all "slide nicely down into place" - at least not in case of Pocket 2. Wonder if you're using DJI Pocket 1 version ?

Note date of video - this was Pocket 1....... Thanks

@@iftibashir Thanks, noted. I thought as much after watching your video. Thanks for sharing. I could AT LAST use it on my Pocket 2 as well (some effort involved). Working wonderfully now. Cheers.

please try connecting the WIRELESS GO RODE with the Expansion Kit wireless module. Can rode be used by using mic input from RODE to the osmo pocket?

Thx for the video, I bought the osmo Bluetooth but it has so short distance only around 7-8m and after it looses connection... is that correct or mine is bad?
@strawhatsam5 жыл бұрын
From what I've researched you get the best range in 2.4GHz Wifi mode. Bluetooth has the shortest range.

I haven't found an answer to this one yet.. What is the battery life of the Osmo Pocket while recording 4K 60fps and transmitting on the Wifi module (not blue tooth)?

Hi. do you know how to connect Osmo pocket to GoPro suction mount while having the wireless base and controller wheel connected.
@iftibashir5 жыл бұрын
Depends on how secure you want it. Connect the WiFi Module and control wheel, then use this to connect to the suction cup mount : kzbin.info/www/bejne/nmO8kp5vqc14a5o

Can the MIMO app run on an ipad or ipad pro? I was able to see and install MIMO on an iphone, but can't find MIMO in ipad apps... though my ipad is a bit old. However, if MIMO works on ipad pro, I'll buy an ipad pro 12.9 to display and control my Osmo Pocket.
@iftibashir5 жыл бұрын
Yes Ive seen it running on an iPad before......
@maxbootstrap73975 жыл бұрын
@@iftibashir : Thanks for that information. Since I've never worked with iphones or ipads before, how do you suggest I get the MIMO app on an ipad... when the app is not shown as existing by the app that shows ipad apps? I assume there must be ipad apps that aren't promoted/mentioned by Apple... right?
@jacobscordilis14015 жыл бұрын
Just install the phone app on your iPad and adjust the aspect ratio

@@jacobscordilis1401 : I have zero experience with iphone or ipad. So maybe the following question is stupid. If so, tell me why this is a stupid question. Okay, here goes. On someones iphone I was able to load the MIMO app because there is an "apps" application on the iphone. So I clicked this "apps" icon then entered MIMO and it found the app and I selected it, which installed it. However, on the ipad, when I clicked on the "apps" app and entered MIMO... nothing (no app) appeared. I also entered DJI and Osmo but no MIMO app appeared in the list. So *HOW* do I load an app on the ipad when the app does not appear? Thanks!

can someone help it seems im having trouble connecting my wireless module, everytime I click connect it doesn't do anything at all ?
@systemtim4 жыл бұрын
I have found that a) it does not work effectively or reliably with Ipad pro b)it does not connect reliably if near any other device with bluetooth/wifi (ie another phone or ipad). Move completely away from other devices.

This product could have been a real game but it fails in basic things. 1. Just put the wireless module inside the device for Ease of use. 2. Let the data exchange happen from that power port. 3. Give 2 modes of shooting: portrait and landscape 4. Make the mount screw as permanent thing on device. It is not on wireless part I still believe it is different from other action cams and can do better as it depends on different principles like manual stabilization.

The limited ability of NOT being able to combine accessories kills the greatness of this camera. If you're recording pro audio, that's your accessory, that's all you get - except maybe using the cell phone adapter, which drains your osmo battery fast.

It is my understanding that with the wireless you cannot use 4k 60fps

Awesome video.... DJI sucks for selling this when it could EASILY be IN the unit and not an accessory. Marketing FUMBLE, would have made WAY MORE on Christmas Sales if it was 1 unit capable of wireless control.... Spoiler, a 5$ BT transmitter works too 🇺🇸
@iftibashir5 жыл бұрын
Agree. I actually thing the entire accessory kit (with the control wheel and mount) should have been included with the OSMO Pocket to start with.
