Release date 2015.
DJI released its first set of Phantom 3 drones, Advanced & Professional. Soon after they released the Phantom 3 Standard. 12 mega pixel camera, 3 axis gimbal, Full HD, Jpeg, RAW, range 1000m and a flight time of 25 minutes. Bought mine brand new for £619.
In this video I show you how to apply the “Point of Interest” mode.
In the next video to follow, I will show you the “Follow Me” mode while driving the car, will the drone follow the car?

Hey Shaun why do you keep the guard on one of the prop arms? Did it crack? That was one problem initially (Early DJI Phantoms 1 &2) some drones prop motor mounts cracked because the screws were torqued down too much.

I noticed there was small cracks where the screws are so added support. I did hear about the motor mounts but this has happened only recently, seems to have solved the problem now Joe :)

I have a chance to buy a DJI phantom 3 advanced for $250 CAD. Is this a reasonable price? Its in brand new condition.

It's a good price, hopefully it's coming with 3 batteries. I will be making videos soon with my Phantom 3 Advanced very soon. It's got a very good range. Good luck with your buy.
