I bought a Phantom 3 Standard and love it. How ridiculous is it they don't just provide a 100 watt charger in all 3's. $00.25 difference in electronic parts.

It's a bit premature since mine hasn't arrived yet, but I'm interested in your comment in Quest. 13 re: the Phantom will prevent data loss if (as I'm known to do) I forget to power down the video before the Phantom. +My Vaping Place Hello! Welcome to a new, huge emerging field and industry. Without getting overly complicated in my answers, this is what I'll say... 1) This is a quadcopter, meaning it has four blades and arms, each attached to either a clockwise or counter-clockwise motor. 2) The DJI Intelligent Flight Battery is a 4,480-mAh, 15.2V li-po battery sized about 6 x 3 x 4 inches. 3) The controller, just make sure to charge via USB on a computer that is charged or plugged in. The 100W charger for Phantom 3 Pro, charges faster than the 57W charger of Phantom 3 Advanced. They take 60 min. (3 pro) and 96 min. (3 advanced and standard) minutes to charge. For a full charge, it takes about 4-5 hours for a full charge before flying. Remember though, the batteries are best STORED at 30% of a full charge (don't charge and store them at 100% for more than a couple days). 4) A Phantom 3 Professional is currently (2/27/2016) about $999 for a basic package in the U.S. Hope that helps, Joe! -Ryan

I’ve been flying for a year with the P3S and purchased a refurbished unit. Works well no issues except after a flip over from 3 ft from a tree limb I changed cameras and between the upgrades back around the same time of June 2017 I noticed I no longer can see any of the 8 WiFi channels and to this date cant find anyone with a topic of this nature on utube. Anything I can do or what would be possible issues to getting this option back on the app? Thanx for any possible solution or what could be preventing the visual of what the WiFi channels are doing

Great video! I have a question before I launch into my first purchase of any drone. (probably getting the DJI P3 Pro). I do a lot of mountaineering and backpacking at higher elevations >14,000'. I would want to document scenery up to, and over 10,000' elevation levels normally. Any idea how it behaves in air that is, not only thinner, but air-pressure that is noticeably reduced? Thanks!

If it had ground station i'd buy the advanced P3 due to the better GPS, motors etc. The 1080/60 fps is also nice. I love the ground station and have spent many hours researching it. Big reason for getting a DJI so I can fly it out on missions. I'm still saving for a vision 2 +and maybe ground station may ne added to the P3 by then. If not it'll be a P2V+.

Ricardo Smarzaro Any drone we have that has the GLONASS GPS on it will be a better choice for the job. It is a more stabilized GPS system. Look at the Chroma and the Phantom 3 Pro or Advanced for GLONASS GPS.

I just got my Phantom 3. There doesn't seem to be any information about setting altitude when creating a flight path with the Pilot App. With ground station on my Phantom 2 vision plus v.3 I was able to set the altitude for each way point. On the pilot app there is no way to set way points or more importantly able to set the altitude for the flight path.
