is this overkill for someone mainly looking to shoot stills? are there drones out there that are specifically designed for still shooters?

Yes combined OSMO Baby! Just bought a handle to carry drone for ground shots. Only question with monitor mini Android: Will it support other apps like Litchi? Most of my work is all automated.

Hey, have you recorded the 1080@120p segment in H264 or H265 as I see this camera can shoot both?

I have a P4 PP (3 Batteries) and also DJI Goggles. An AMAIZINg setup for all kind of situations. It worth every penny I paid for. I reccomend this combination.

Hello I'm looking to purchase my first quite affordable phantom as a used unit in order to use it for filmaking and taking some low light shots. I was looking for older models phantom 3 professional and phantom 4 standard but according to your video I believe the phantom 4 advanced is the model to go with. I still can find it as used at a very close price range to 3 professional or 4 standard. What's your opinion about? Thanks!

There is a raw version of the osmo and x5 camera that can hook into the inspire 2. Not quite as portable, but it will accomplish what you mentioned about a ground/aerial combo

Where does the Controller get it's GPS data from? By that, I mean that I use a P4P with an iPad Mini and the App gets the GPS data from the Cellular connection. So, when you're out in the field, how does the display get it's map data?

Nice review, Ben. Yes, I'd love to see DJI separate that camera. I'd also like to see some interchangeability! Imagine the possibilities!

Pretty sure the Inspire and Osmo have the same mount; you can take your DJI cameras to run-and-gun, but they have to be the more expensive ones!!!

people also fail to mention that the pro comes with the 5.8 ghz and 2.4 where as the advanced only has 2.4 I believe. That is actually kind of a big deal:/ Also I was wondering, I just got a p4p plus and love it but my screen is ever so slightly tilted to the right lol is that normal? just curious doesn't bother me much.
@muhammadfazaannindra.gxiip86487 жыл бұрын
Alex Rothbard Yes the pro comes 2.4ghz and 5.8ghz but whats the big deal?i thought the 5.8ghz is only usefull when flying indoors.
@alexrothbard43247 жыл бұрын
You might be right I’m just thinking back to the phantom 4 and remember it had some interference problems especially when flying near other drones or wifi so what I meant by big deal is basically longer range and just a more stable connection in various conditions. I may be wrong though I’m no expert and perhaps I exaggerated a little lol the p4p advanced is still a sweet drone.
@alexrothbard43247 жыл бұрын
And I just wanted to mention it because most people don’t know the advanced doesn’t have duel bands people thing the obstacle avoidance is the only difference.
@SirBeauJangles4 жыл бұрын
@@alexrothbard4324 The higher freq band is likely to show less range than the 2.4ghz band. But since 2.4 is the commonest used band for wifi if you are too close to built up areas you may have some sort of difficulty but the Lightbridge system is extremely stable. My MavAir defaults to 5.8 for some reason when it's on auto select, but even its enhanced wifi is stable in practice. If you stay a sensible distance away from built up areas your drones should be rock solid at 2.4ghz right out to max range - which you shouldn't be doing anyway since you're supposed to have sight contact through the flight. (I can't keep *completely reliable* sight contact with any Phantom at more than roughly a quarter mile, and with any Mavic it's a lot less than that)

still to expensive for us regular working folks who got kids to raise bills to pay. but still its a nice quad for those who got that kind of money to blow. in a grown folks toy.to bad dji quads are out of reach for just about every body. thats the sad part.

I can see why people enjoy RC planes and cars etc as they require a bit of skill and are therefore fun to use, but drones seem to fly themselves these days, so unless you desperately need to take aerial photos or video I just don't get it.
@dimentbarg97936 жыл бұрын
Anyone can fly one of these but it actually takes a lot of time and effort to get good at it. Not just flying but to also make your video look good.

Wow, copied Yuneec's game plan. DJI spy's on all of your data. Including your video's. Yuneec does not. FYI.

Actually, where he’s mistaken is in regard to the 5 direction obstacle avoidance. He says it’s on the Advanced, but in actuality it’s one of the main features that sets the Pro apart from the Advanced.
