To ALL DJI customers: DO NOT buy the DJI SELECT , it does not cover any accessories for the Mavic 2 Pro or Zoom. This is a big scam from DJI I bought from DJI STORE a Mavic 2 hard case, but the 20% discount as a SELECT member was not applied, called customer service and they said these discounts are for everything else but not for the Mavic 2..... What a big scam this is,....

This is absolutely THE BEST tutorial, not only on the subject, but on anything. Instead of the usual rambling, self-important, BS this guy presents the material in a good training sequence with enough detail to be useful to beginner and intermediate operator alike. I only wish there were more folks like him offering real expertise on their subject of interest.

I just acquired a used phantom 4 and I read the owners manual which I downloaded. A lot of good information but I was looking for someone to pull all of that info together into a flowing cohesive approach to preparing, understanding, and presenting the basic information. You have done all of that and more. I so appreciate your honest attention to detail and appreciate all of the hard work behind the scenes to bring this video to us. Thank you very much!!

This video is very well made and extremely helpful. I ordered a refurbished Phantom 4 from the DJI store, and I've been impatiently waiting for it to arrive. I've been pouring over videos to research the machine in advance. When I got the drone today, I felt like I operated it as if I'd owned it for a long time, thanks in large part to your video. Long, but absolutely required viewing for familiarizing yourself with the use, capabilities and features of the DJI Phantom 4 model drones. Tony gives you detailed information and helps you to prevent making mistakes regarding things you may not have known. (Ex: The 4 Pro uses different filters than the 4). Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! You did something that most other instructional videos don’t: you explained everything in all the menus, right down to the last setting. That is really great because even though I may not use all the features, when I do need to shoot in an odd situation I’ll know whether the camera will actually perform the function or not. Then I’ll know whether to search for the setting or not. I hope that makes sense. Well done!

There is a significant problem with AEB, in that the P4P currently writes the exact same exposure values to the Metadata, which makes processing difficult in HDR software. This is especially a problem with Photomatix batch processing.

One more question. This is a lot of information on the screen. Is this something that is dealt with prior to flight or something that is being adjusted during flight? If during flight, seems like you would never be able to have any type of sight on the drone with all of the adjustments having to be made. I want to be good, but this would all need to be memorized in order to do both at once..Thanks again!

Hey Tony, first off, amazing video! I love all you work and follow you regularly. However, Class D airspace is not common as is Class G airspace and requires authorization prior to flight or a waiver. Also, your registration number must be visible, putting it inside the battery compartments is not within compliance. Once again. great work!

My 1st flight was yesterday! 10 minutes in and I raised it to 30 feet and it just stopped flashing and running. The 30 ft drop to a sidewalk doesn't make a pretty sight and pieces scattering in all directions while the blades stay attached. The battery was still flashing. We will see what DJI does on Monday when they open.

I received my Phantom 4 Pro and did some practice learning to fly according to your Fly Without Crashing video. Another great video, Tony. I'm having problems recording video and am hoping you can help me out. If I shoot at 60fps in either 4k of 1080 I get jerky, choppy playback just playng back raw mp4 on my windows media player. It looks as if the frames are jumping backward and forward, also. Shutter speed is set at 120. If I shoot at 30fps, the video playback is much better. Is this fixable in post processing? I haven't tried this yet. Huge learning curve! Any thoughts? I am using a Scandisk ultra 64gb xc1card. Thanks again for all your work!!

At one point you demonstrate how a faster shutter speed yields a sharper video when the P4P is moving, but in your later ND filter segment you say something like "ND filters let me use the slower shutter speeds like 30fps, which I prefer." Please clarify. Also, do you cover prop shadows in any of your videos? 3D Solo users employ ND filters to lower the GoPro's shutter speed specifically to eliminate visible artifacts from the props. But it stands to reason that a lower shutter speed will introduce motion blur when doing camera moves. And thank you for a wonderful video. I agree with the many positive comments here!
