Excellent description and explanation. Even happier with my choice now

Just ordered the DJI thanks for this video my confusion on which one to get was solved.

Charging speed, output power DJI is better in every way and can fast charge the drone, I'd go with the DJI power.

Does using the DJI Power 1000 in UPS mode degrade the battery? Or does it consume more power overall (than just plugging things direct to the wall?)

we have to buy the solar panel charging module separately for the DJI Power 1000 ?

The MPPT module is separate unless you buy it in a package.

Can Power 1000 supply high AC power, like 2000w, to other appliances, while it is charged at 600 or 1200w? Thanks!
@BeatTheBush2 ай бұрын
It's what they call 'bypass mode'. Up to 1440W ON 100-120V and 2200W on 220-240V. Generally, you cannot do over 1800W using the standard AC cord anyway.
@parkershaw85292 ай бұрын
@BeatTheBush thanks for the response. I specifically would like to ask: when the input is at 600w, can power 1000 still output 1440w? Basically, can power 1000 output more than input in "bypass mode'?

What would you get to survive a 3 week power outage? I want to be prepared but don't know where to start.

A lot of these😂

Lets say you need 10kW/day. It's unfeasible to only power with batteries. Hence it's best to have a 2-3 day battery with enough solar to charge it taking into account how much sun you typically get.

A gas generator is your only chance. Honda has a good reputation for gas generators

can you use any solar panel? or do you have to use the DJI solar panels only? they feel expensive for 100w only
@BeatTheBush4 ай бұрын
You can use other ones of course but you have to make sure the voltage and power output is compatible. It also uses an Xt60 connector.
@AkhonaNgquba9 күн бұрын
Another clearly one sided comparison. You have what 6 dongles? Dongles disappear or break. The EcoFlow also has a case which makes it waterproof and an XT150 port on the side which can technically do everything the SDC can do including powering your house
@Bobster9863 ай бұрын
It’s not too obvious you’re favoring the DJI generator while EcoFlow makes them for DJI anyway. 😂
@Chinna_chinnariii4 ай бұрын
Better go with eco flow ... It's too costly to buy dji as we need to buy separate modules for everything... And if you check the temperature over solar module it is too hectic apart of extra power eco flow is best ,if you want extra power buy eco flow delta pro .... Much better...

This power inverter are good BUT for a real life power outage you will something else… I tested the delta 2 with a windows ac unit ( 8k BTU) 800watts and it only lasted exactly 1 hour.
@BeatTheBush5 ай бұрын
For power AC units for a day, you'll need something MUCH bigger and the corresponding price will be much higher as well.

DJI failed with all the dongles and adapters. Like an octopus for daily operation.
@BeatTheBush5 ай бұрын
Their idea was to get high speed charging access direct from the battery. Indeed, if you use the solar and car adapters then there will be a bunch of things hanging off.
