find out what is wrong with the old arm jim. can you hook a battery to it to see if its a bad wire or dead led.
@LifeWithBillSiff3 жыл бұрын
Already did that it’s a bad wire but it just as easy to replace arm . I will rebuild the old one for a spare

good job Bilsiff! Soldering little wires with sausage fingers is rough! I can attest to that!

Thanks for a great video! Doing this now but can’t get the front arm back in, trying to understand how you do it but don’t get it. Arm goes easily back if it’s put in in the mid-position, but then it only snaps to the middle and not end-positions. Any tips…?

I would never go through what you did to repair a drone, good job

Just replaced the same arm but I didn’t feed wire under sticky mesh where you did at 14 min mark. Not sure how important that was. I pryed it up and put it back after running wire. My cameras not working but I don’t think it’s related.. lol crashed it months ago and finally got around to replacing arm. Not sure if camera worked after crash, been so long.

Well done Bill. I watched the last episode and really thought you'd fecked it. Soldering on a board like that must be terrifying, especially with a dodgy iron. Glad she's flying again, hope you didn't get any dry solder joints 😭

Hello, excellent video, can you confirm where exactly the compass is located? Thanks
@LifeWithBillSiff3 жыл бұрын
It’s in the head of the drone I think but not sure because I was working on arms sorry thanks for the question

Thanks for making this video. I was able to replace the bum wing on my MA2 and get her flying! The knobs on the chassis that hold the arm spring in place shattered, but I think I'm just gonna chance it and see how she flies. I ordered a chassis replacement to do it right, but not looking forward to all that desoldering and resoldering. Did yours have epoxy or something on the solder points?
