Thanks for this great video about the Ronin SC! I recently got one and had a lot of difficulty balancing it. Watched several video's and still had issues. But thanks to your masterclass, I managed to get it right :-) Been practising a bit and love it. Looking forward to finally do some real shooting with it!

Awesome Kai - DJI RONIN SC is awsome gimbal overall. I use it with eos r and eos rp ( rf 35mm and ef 50mm with adapter ) and it works very stable ! have a lot of settings to make it fit on your needs !

I can see why u keep all ur stuff stored in a locker. My house got broken into and they stoled all my cameras & laptops & gear. Even my big 48" motorized slider that I don't even use -___- who ever it was really wanted to hurt my feelings -___- now I'm shooting & editing everything from my phone. Thanks for the review. The only issue i have with the use of the app is - SUPPORT and SECURITY. There is nothing stopping these being unusable in a few years because of the app support if ceasing for whatever reason. They never tell you this.

You know with the scaling on it only the first time set up would be a bit of a hassle. If you write down where you are on the scale for all cameras and lense combinations you use the second set up would be even easier. I never knew that I wanted a gimble until today

I have the Gimbal and have been trying to get it balanced (it took hours, but this is my first gimbal). When you do the focus track with the phone mount on top, do you have to rebalance the entire camera again, only to rebalance it after you take the phone off? When I put the phone on top, the entire thing was off balance.

Pretty cool. The Ronin SC combined with the cell phone works well. Add the Panasonic wifi camera app and you have a fully remote control G5 for lots of otherwise impossible shots. Some that come to mind would be some remote car shots (mounted on a bumper hitch for example) or maybe some nature shots out in the field. Could it be used for time lapse astrophotography or repeatable special effects? I guess it just depends on how much your willing to risk and how rugged you could make the rig.

My Lumix G85 won't connect with the Dji Ronin SC. I tried connecting it thru the PC feature but it doesn't work. It just displays connecting to pc. Can you tell me how to fix this?

Hi Kai, If you test the new Crane M2 (little guy), can you please try an A7iii + Samyang 24mm pancake lens on it? Zhiyun told me no, it won't work... but, I think they just wanna up-sell to a Weebill or something. (because an A7iii + Samyang 24mm is only like 50g more than advertised weight limit).

@@BruceLeroyUK yeah it was really weird. It was spinning really fast and kind of just came out of nowhere. I think then calibration got messed up but it was only an hour or two after I got it. Some forums said it was the result of improper balancing but it worked just fine before and just kind of happened. I'm still interested in using one in the future but a different brand. I'm eyeing Zhiyun.
