I got it 2 days after it came out at best buy. Its my first gimbal. I got the regular one and i love it. So sturdy, so smooth

For me it was worth it, it’s my first gimbal and never had any of the previous models and i’m loving it! (Handles tamron 70-180 G2/sony a7iv with ease)

In my experience the vertical mode just got thrown in there to add something new. Raven Eye not optimal, focus motor makes it way to front heavy to balance, certain cages don't balance.

I found a way but its a process you can just pull that locking thing on the side until it tightens

I have the DJI RS4 and the best setting is to set the "deadbang" to low with light lens such as my sony 11mm apsc but with heaver lens "medium" is the best

Hey Peter which gimbal would you use for Tamron 35-150 and ZV-E1? Regular RS4 or do you think RS4 Pro would have more stable footage?

i Would love a comparison between the RS4, Weebill S and the brand new Weebill 3E. How compact are they, which one is better for small travel size, which one has the better eco system and accessories, and maybe also thrid-party support like smallrig. And maybe also compatibility, when you upgrade the Gimbal or even change from Zhiyun to DJI, what parts can i reuse. Also what eco system is more future proofe. From what i see, i believe DJI has the bettter Eco system. More Accessories, better third party support from smallrig, Ulanzi, and Falcam. Also i think DJI has more Accessories and they are futureprove, i think some Accessories are compatible now for 3 generations. The Weebill-S is smaller, but Accessories are now hard to find, they are not compatible with other gimbals, isze limitations but better sling mode handle.

have the same question. Have the 'old' Weebill S, works well, hate the app, and the transmitter with it, I really still can't get it to work properly (cable issues ). DJI indeed has better Eco system, their experience with drones and gimbals and transmission... but still... how oft do I use a gimbal? Biggest problem I have with gimbals, they are big, heavy to hold, and you loose 'connection' with your camera... What I would love to see is how people use it with camera's that have AF on. I mean, my Canon gear (R3/R5) has awesome AF, face recognition, but still, you have to 'aim' it on a person, and if it doesn't find anything, it goes 'hunting'. I haven't seen that the mobile apps are showing even the AF point. You can set all lighting settings, but AF ... seems no app does that. Sure you could use the Canon app for that, but... as most probably already found out, those suck bigtime, you loose connection often, during recording you can't change anything... Just curious how people use gimbals with camera's like this (instead of ALL influencers with gimbals, using Sony, or... even manual focus lenses).

Hello, I just got my DJI RS4 and love it, but I have a question. Is it normal for the pan axis to have a bit of wiggle when locked(the gimbal is turned off)? I only used it once, so I want to know if this is normal or a potential problem. It’s my first gimbal so not sure what to expect. Thanks

Hi, yes you will be able to ballance it, but it will be pushing it to the max in terms of size. It is hard to get perfect balance with the larger setups, and you might be better off with a Pro.

Please make a video for best settings of RS4 PRO for the smoothest shots! Got one last week but somehow, even with your settings from the video of the RS3 I won't get that smooth shots (as you show from the car, or are they stabilized in pro already?)

I will do a settings video once I have used it a bit more. Try to reset the settings. The only setting I have changed on my RS4 is the follow speed. I have it set to SLOW. The car shots are straight out of camera no post stabilization added.

I only care about balancing a canon c70 with 24-70 I’m not trying to do any tricks or attached any focus motors the canon c70 has auto focus I only need it for smooth walking shots

Hi. I am pretty sure you will need the Pro in order to balance the C70. The body is to big and even if you could you will struggle with getting it balanced perfectly. That wont be a problem on the pro.
