Hi, i wanted to ask if when it starts blinking from green light to off it means that its fully charged? cause mine started doing that and after that the light turned off
@ResslerMania6 ай бұрын
Thank you @mentalsplitmusic so very much for watching our video and taking time to comment. We really appreciate that. Yes, if you keep the case plugged it after the batteries are fully charged, the lights will go out after they reach green status. Have a GREAT Day.

One thing to note. It won't charge if the charger is TOO powerful. I tried connecting to one of the new Anker chargers recently released from USB-C to USB-C. The charger showed 0 watts going to it. It just made the lights come on. Once I plugged it into a USB-A to USB-C then it started charging at about 10 watts. I have some other devices that also refuse to charge if there is too much power trying to go into it.
@ResslerMania4 ай бұрын
Thanks for the additional information. I was not aware of that. It must have internal circuitry that protects itself from surges and thus will not charge over a certain amperage. Appreciate the comment. Have a great day 👍

I just bought the camera with this battery case. It took forever to charge (still showing yellow light) over a day on my regular Iphone's charger. Not sure if I have to use a more powerful battery charger.
@ResslerMania9 ай бұрын
Thank you @KhoaNguyen-xj6gk so very much for watching our video and taking time to comment. We really appreciate that. I have no affiliation with DJI, nor am I a technician but I have to assume either the charging case is defective or the charging block you have been using is not high enough voltage/amps. On the bottom of the case it states it needs an input voltage of 5v to 10v with at least 3 amps. You might only have a 2v charger plugged into it. Hope this helps. Have a GREAT Day.
@maxx31418 ай бұрын
I have the same issue, first time charging it after buying 3 days ago. Charged it from 11pm to 7am and out of the 3 batteries. Only one got fully charged. The rest are the same
@ResslerMania8 ай бұрын
Check the bottom of your case. Mine states you need 5v-10v and 3 amp minimum to charge the case. If the charging block or charging device is less that those requitements, it may not charge properly.

Thank you @BackToTravelprinceOfficial so very much for watching our video and taking time to comment. We really appreciate that. To answer your question, yes and no. Please look at the bottom of the case and the online instructions that explains it in more detail to ensure your charger is powerful enough. Hope that helps and Have a GREAT Day.

So the case does charge the batteries, as long as it’s plugged in to another power source. Correct?
@ResslerMania9 ай бұрын
Correct. It must be plugged in to charge. At least the version I have cannot charge the batteries on the go. For instance, my MOVO wireless mics can be charged up in their case a couple of times before the case has to be plugged in, because the case has a battery built into the case. THIS case does not have a built in battery, so cannot charge without being plugged in.

That was very helpful. Before i even didn't know that osmo 3 and 4 have the same batteries.

I’m a little confused, mine went from yellow to red. I have it plugged in and they basically are not charging. This is a bummer considering I just bought the action 5 and can’t even use it.
@ResslerMania3 ай бұрын
Hmmm. That IS interesting. I do not work for DJI and have no affiliation with them. I am simply a consumer who is sharing his experiences. With that said, my understanding is the Action 5 uses the same battery as the Action 4. If that is correct, my first test would be to try to use the same charging block and cable to charge the Action 5 directly to ensure the charging brick and wire are not at fault. Other possible issues could be the charging brick you have does not put out enough voltage OR too much voltage. The battery case does show the variance in what it can accept. It is very small and a little hard to read for an older person like me, but it is there. Hope this helps and Have a great day 👍

Thanks, I'm seeing red instead of orange, is the battery broken?
@ResslerMania8 ай бұрын
You should be fine. It usually just means you have a little voltage ⚡️ left in the battery. Check the bottom of the case to make sure you have a charger that is powerful enough to charge the batteries. I believe I mentioned it in the video. From memory I think it is something like 5v to 10v, or something like that. A lot of people have tried to charge it with a 2v cell phone charger and it obviously did not work. But again, please look at the bottom of the case to make sure. Hope this helps, and have a great day.

So I can run my DJI Osmos Action 4 off this Battery Power Case for a total of about 5 hours of continuous video?
@ResslerMania5 ай бұрын
Thank you for the question. This is a battery holder that allows you to charge 3 batteries after you plug 🔌 it into a power brick. Once the batteries are fully charged, you can use this like a power source. The length of time it can be used as a power source depends on the device you are using it on and how good the batteries are in the case. In theory it should last 4 to 5 hours as supplemental power to an Action 4 with three fully charged batteries in the case.

Am still confused the way how this man spoking. First he said the case is not for charging then hes charging from.where
@ResslerMania9 ай бұрын
Thank you for the question. In other words, some reviews claim you can charge up the case, then charge up the batteries just from the case without plugging it in. The version of the case I reviewed you have to keep the case plugged in for the batteries to charge. You CAN, however, charge other things FROM this case and use it as a makeshift battery bank, as I demonstrated when I charged my phone. Did this way of explaining it help any better?

@ResslerMania10 ай бұрын
Thank you @rajukumardas3570 so very much for watching our video and taking time to comment. We really appreciate that. The charging time really is not that bad. Remember, you are only using one battery in the camera at a time. By the time you use up the juice in the battery in the camera, at least one of the other two, in the charger, will be ready to go (assuming you have the charger plugged in). When I did the unboxing, I had to charge all 3 batteries because they were new, I did not have to only charge one. Hope that helps. Have a GREAT Day.

Just a thought. The 25v charger might be a bit much for it and overloading the internal circuitry somehow. The bottom of the case does say 5v-10v. Hope this helps.
