Eddie Polhill Hi, yes a resident of the area told me that I should put the drone down immediately or I could get a fine of around $1.000 if I get caught...

Thanks for the info. I'm 50/50 on risking it. Damn. Just found this: Drone laws in Los Angeles In October 2015, the Los Angeles City Council passed an ordinance making drone use within five miles of an airport, more than 500 feet above the ground, or within 25 feet of another person a misdemeanor that is punishable by up to six months in jail and/or a fine of $1,000.

Eddie Polhill but don't get me wrong that was the only place in California that someone said something to me about the drone, I flew the drone in front the police in Santa Mónica and they didn't say anything... remember that the spark goes very unnoticed because of its size... they think it's a toy...
