There use to be a great car company called Pontiac, their slogan was "We Build Excitement". Since they are no longer around, I think DJI should adopt it. ;-) LOL

Again a fantastic unboxing :) Pretty cool camera! Too bad you can only apply it to the Inspire 1. DJI should release a version you can put on any kind of multirotors like they did with the old zenmuse gimbal series but i doubt they will do it actually. Thanks for sharing and happy midweek to you :)

A propper (looking) camera this time :) Do you know who makes the cam, and what sensor-size it uses (probably the biggest upgrade)
@AerialAutomotive9 жыл бұрын
+DutchRC ADVENTURES Indeed :) It's a Micro 4/3 Sony sensor
@DutchRC9 жыл бұрын
Cool :) And a f1.7 prime on it I think?
@AerialAutomotive9 жыл бұрын
+DutchRC ADVENTURES yes sir :)
@DutchRC9 жыл бұрын
+DroneDude I never really know how that f1.7 in micro 4/3 translates to full frame lenses.. But f1.7 seems better then just 'nice'.. Can you use lenses from other manufacturers?
@AerialAutomotive9 жыл бұрын
Yes! I believe Olympus and Some other company make a few different lenses that work on the Inspire!

Thanks for info, so how many min can it fly now with x5 on inspire? I like to upgrade my but don't know how much fly times would you tell me more about it Thanks again
@AerialAutomotive9 жыл бұрын
+Hugh Wong The Inspire with the X5 gets about 15min of flight time with the X5 in it with the TB48 battery.
@hughheli9 жыл бұрын
Hi can u tell me about the x 5 u put on inspire1? How they flight Thanks
@AerialAutomotive9 жыл бұрын
+Hugh Wong It performs well, the Inspire's battery life is reduced though.
@hughheli9 жыл бұрын
Do u have any problems with z5 camera on inspire1 ? When u flight? Thanks
@AerialAutomotive9 жыл бұрын
+Hugh Wong Nope, no problems at all.
@WoodysDronography9 жыл бұрын
is there something like this for the phantom 3 advanced?
@AerialAutomotive9 жыл бұрын
+Woody's Dronography Unfortunately no, the only camera add ons for the Phantom series are lends filters
@WoodysDronography9 жыл бұрын
+DroneDude dang. yeah I ordered the filters for cinematic style recording, but I realized the limitations of the phantom gimbal and it would be nice to have a better control over field of view.
@AerialAutomotive9 жыл бұрын
Woody's Dronography Yeah, that would be nice. The Inspire definitely offers more verticality when it comes to filming.
@WoodysDronography9 жыл бұрын
+DroneDude definitely. you get what you pay for, but that price tag is hard to swallow. lol
@AerialAutomotive9 жыл бұрын
Woody's Dronography very true

A $2200 camera rig on a consumer grade quad? DJI is gonna make a killing from repairing crashed copters and cameras...
@AerialAutomotive9 жыл бұрын
+SkyDrone Technologies I hope the people flying these cameras have a little more experience than the average consumer.
@skydronetechnologies25899 жыл бұрын
+DroneDude You're missing the point... It's a high dollar camera rig on a quad... if an ESC or motor goes out, it's gonna drop like a rock. DJI should have offered the X5 on a rig with some degree of redundancy... preferably an octocopter or at least a hex. They're marketing it as a pro grade camera, which it is, but mounting it on a hobby grade copter. Nice review otherwise...
@AerialAutomotive9 жыл бұрын
SkyDrone Technologies I agree that it would have been nice to offer the X5 on drones such as the S900 or above. I think it will be compatible with the Matrice 100.
@skydronetechnologies25899 жыл бұрын
+DroneDude Matrice is a quad also... Don't mean to beat a dead horse, but anyone serious about "professional" aerial photography/videography, should fly a platform with some degree of redundancy, i.e. hex, octo or X8, or have a parachute system.
@AerialAutomotive9 жыл бұрын
SkyDrone Technologies Just because it's a quad, doesn't mean that it's not up to the job, however again, I do agree that on the professional level something with more motors and batter redundancy is necessary.
