Djibouti is viewed by many countries as a model of stability. --Situated on the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, gateway to one of the world’s busiest trade route Suez Canal, Djibouti provides an essential port for its landlocked neighbour Ethiopia. It assumes significance as the railway between their respective capitals is completed. --Infrastructure projects led by China, which include construction of maritime and airports, are present here much like in the rest of Africa. --Djibouti’s proximity to edgy regions in the Middle East and Africa makes it strategically important for military superpowers to set up their bases here.

Djibouti is obviously being taken advantage of. Djibouti has access to the Red Sea which is super important for trade. Djibouti overall has one of the highest corruption and poverty rates in Africa. If what you mean by "stable" as in no conflict then you are right, but it is obviously that the officials have not ambitions for economic stability and growth, so Djibouti is just another dump.

The North-south route from India to Russia also connects India with the Mediterranean Sea via the Black Sea. The Volga and Don rivers connect the Caspain Sea to the Black Sea in turn. Therefore, this project by India provides an alternative to the Seuz canal route. A strategic move on India's part.

The problem with INSTC is that driving, whether trucks or trains, is still way more expensive by volume (not to mention fuel cost) than does traditional shipping. Looks good on a map, but in practice the INSTC will fizzle away due to costs (initial building and maintenance) and an assumption that Russia, Iran, and India will remain reliable trading partners. In other words, good luck!

Djibouti was formally called the French Somaliland from (1884 to 19670), it got its independence in 1977 🇩🇯. Djibouti is the land of the Somali ( Issa) and Afar people. Djibouti is a Muslim country that is part of the Arab League. Ethiopians and Hindus are immigrant workers just like in Qatar, Saudi or The UAE. I'm a Djiboutian who watches your videos regularly even though most of them are Hindu bias. Please make sure you document yourself well before you make a video. Thank you ✨

This is very sad and was done so that Somali people dont get too powerful.
