One of the things I am proud of is that we Syrians refer to Damascus in arabic as شام (Sham). The official Arabic name for the city is دمشق (Dimashq), but in conversation its called "Sham" because it is understood to be the epicenter that connects all of بلاد الشام (The Levant). @ I have mentioned it before in a comment section but to sum it up (please do research as there is a lot) the UAE are funding the RSF (rapid support forces) also known as janjaweed a rebel group who are made up of different African nations to kill Sudanese civilians for our land and resources. It’s been said that it is a “civil war” but how can it be a Civil War? When the only people who are dying are innocent men women and children? Who are being raped killed and tortured every single day? How can people who call them selves Muslims ( the UAE) do this to another Muslim nation? And then deny it. This has been going on for years but it’s really picked up over the past two years and it really hurts me that everyone mentions Palestine but no one mentions or talks about Sudan. I’m starting to think it’s because Sudan is a black nation. And I’m not even trying to bring it down to race or use race as an excuse but every single time something bad happens to Muslims in Africa no one talks about. We are part of prophet Mohammed ummah yet we are always forgotten. And most of the gold sold in the UAE is from Sudan, stolen and sold. In just five months this year I have lost 20 family members (Allah Yerhamo). They have massacred countless towns and villages and killed mainly our men captured them to train them as soldiers to kill their own.

I wish his lecture would have been translated into english so that the rest of the world will know him.what ever he predicted based on quran and sunnah during his lifetime are now coming true, be it related to India, pakistan,isreal, afganistan etc. His command on tafseer, how he used to explain each and every point. Recently I found his lecture on salve women, believe me there were few other lectures available on you tube but they could not match the clarity of dr israr Ahmed lecture What I found similarity between dr omer Sulieman and him is that both are religious scholars and both speak against oppression.

49:23 In Kitab ul Fitan and some other hadees books, it is said that Hazrat Esa pbhu will descent into Ilya (Jerusalem). The hadees you read also mentioned East of Damascus. While a matching hadees in Kitab ul Fitan clarifies it is the East of the Damascus door, which is a door of the old city of Jerusalem. Most scholars think it is Damascus the city, but in fact it is Damascus the door of the Jerusalem. So a correction is in order. It is not Damascus, it is Jerusalem where Hazrat Esa pbuh will descent.

My mum back in early 2000 was going from Netherlands to Syria. Historically because of the silkroad this country has amazing artisanal inhabitants. She was buying beautiful jewellery, carpets curtains for reselling purposes. I was 16 last time she went. That 23 years ago. Subxannalah how they changed. I feel its all for economic purposes. Besides that those extreme peope destroyed history. Islam doesnt allow statues or paintinfs of humans or animals. But why did they distroy the libraries?

I am really shocked to learn that thanks to the victory of the "Rebels" Israel, by the morning of December 10, has already invaded one third of Syria!! Great!!!They are only 19 km away from the doors of Damascus. Now try to get back the conquered land. Muslims must be really happy by now.
