If it's not working most likely the factory image has been deleted or is corrupted if that's the case you're going to need a disk to reinstall Windows

What if my ESC stopping bring up the menu thing? Like it did it once, before I watched this video and I tried it multiple times but it won't come back- if anything it loads to password screen even faster.

Try the F10 key or use an external keyboard and try it if you can but if you upgraded to Windows 10 this video won't work for you anyways

i ran a hard drive text smart check passed but dst failed before this text it told me that it told me this version 1.6.0.0 was bios I know nothing so dise al of that change anything

microsoft edned support for windows 7 upgrade to windows 10 so u have to search on youtube there is a way to bypass it though.

This is a fresh install this is the original factory image that comes with the laptop when you buy them HP and Dell does it all the time cuz all the extra software they call it bloatware

@@djice49203 Actuallu I upgraded to windows 10 and then I saw that I had 64x based processor and I have installed 32x operating system so when I installed the 64x iso file and made a bootable pendrive and tried to boot it showed orange screen with white stripes and a blinking cursor on the top left corner, so can you help me .

mine went into automatic repair when I resort somestimes a screen will pop up and has a bar code so scanned says bue screen error then vise back into automatic repair mine is a g6 but when follow your instructions to factory reset it goes back into repair like after the blue screen message on start up after repair on both it goes to black screen can anyone help me????

Pookieg Tisha your best bet is burn a copy of Windows 10 and installed from the Windows 10 disk using your Windows 7 product key on the bottom of your laptop

Pookieg Tisha okay that means your hard drive is bad you're going to have to replace the hard drive and I recommend burn a copy of Windows 10 and reinstall it from there after you replace hard drive

That mean one of 3 that the restore image is corrupted, deleted, or The Hard Drive is Crashed. for the first 2 your going need a disk to reload windows for the other you need to replace the hard drive and need a disk to reload windows
