DJing on CDJs: Creative DJ Transitions

Learn new creative mixing techniques in our DJ tips series, taking you from bedroom DJ to club DJ.
In the second of our 3-part DJ workshop series with Crossfader, founder and CEO Jamie Hartley demonstrates how to mix using EQ, effects, hot cues, looping, and finally by combining techniques to improve your DJ transitions.
Jamie also discusses how to mix songs on CDJs, so you can learn how to DJ on the decks available in your local DJ studios and prepare for DJing in a club.
Jamie will be mixing house music as he demonstrates 5 DJ transition techniques, but all of the steps in this DJ tutorial are transferable to mixing any genre.
