Great Tutorial! I ordered mine this morning, it's been shipped already! Can't wait to grab the controller!!! I've been flying my dji mini 3 pro with the regular RC Controller for months now, I've gotten very good at it. It feels like second nature now. I am sure it will be the same with this one too but on very sunny days, it's going to be FANTASTIC TO FLY THE DRONE WITH THE GOGGLES!!!

Just got mine yesterday - I love the ability to do orbits now - very easy - to do a clockwise orbit push left on the joystick and tilt right - it's actually very intuitive. One thing I have found though that I don't like is that the when using the joystick the drone drifts a bit after you've stpped inputting. Compared to the accelerator - when you stop accelerating the drone hits the brake and stops very quickly - with the joystick though it acts more like a hovercraft - practicing in the back yaed and if you input left to straf left and then let go - it will continue to slide left for another second or so before lazily coming to a stop - not the hit the brakes reactrion I'm used to.

Hi, I’m still having difficulty to orbit around an object with motion control 2. My drone just circles ⭕️ but does not maintain focus on an object at the center of the circle. I don’t use head tracking

What is a bit sad is that you buy a set for 1600 euros and then the Motion 2 controller is not compatible with the "Virtual Flight App". I am very disappointed in DJI, because on the official site is not pointed out.

DJI’s handling of the Motion Controller 2 and its compatibility with the Virtual Flight app is a blatant example of misleading advertising and atrocious customer service. When DJI released the Motion Controller 2 in March 2023, they failed to inform customers that it wasn’t compatible with the Virtual Flight app. This omission is inexcusable, especially since the original Motion Controller was supported. Naturally, customers assumed the latest controller would work with the simulator, which is essential for safely practicing drone flying indoors. For some users, like those with mobility issues, this simulator is not just a convenience-it’s critical. What’s even worse is that DJI has known about this problem for over a year and a half but has done nothing to fix it. Despite repeated promises that they were "forwarding" the issue to their team, nothing has changed. To make matters worse, DJI recently announced that they’re discontinuing the Virtual Flight app altogether, leaving those who purchased the Motion Controller 2 completely abandoned. I have screenshots of DJI’s website showing that they never disclosed this issue. This lack of transparency caused customers who would have otherwise returned their drones to wait, trusting that DJI would make good on its promises. Instead, DJI has dragged their feet, effectively bait-and-switching their customers. This isn’t just a minor oversight-it’s a clear case of false advertising. They sold a product that didn’t deliver what customers were led to believe it would. And after stringing customers along for over a year and a half, they’ve essentially turned their backs on them. DJI’s handling of this situation has been nothing short of abysmal, and they owe their customers more than just empty apologies. They need to take responsibility for this mess and make things right.

Got mine but not too exciting. Paired with Mini 4 pro. Lots of KZbin videos about people liking the control with RC2 1- it seems I have no control of the motion 2- constant rolling from left to right 3-It will not go forward even though I used the control 4-I had to return mine

@ Thank you for the response. The issue is Motion 2 with the overall control. There are lots of KZbin videos that mentions better control with RC2 vs Motion controllers. Maybe have a software update that fixes this. I did not mention it’s a usage issue, it is ease of control and in United States, FAA requires ease of control one of the important flying drones

@@Soulindex I meant real aircraft pilots and helicopter pilots. They fly by seeing thru their cockpits holding onto a stick similar to the motion control. Convert the motion controller by point up down for pitch, twist left right for roll and the mini joystick left right for yaw.

While technically accurate and helpful, how hard would it be to have an actual human do the localized voice over vs synthesized? A human would know how to pronounce and speak the intricacies.

Yea imagine how much work it took to get here. Someone wrote a script, they or someone else shot the footage based on the script, a motion graphics artist and video editor did the graphics, cut footage and synced the timing on the audio. The entire A team was here on the companys dime but no voiceover, and it goes from feeling world class to something a teenager made just like that. I don’t even care about audio I work in graphics but I know what happens when you phone it in.

Do NOT BUY this one, get the old version.The RC 2 is still incompatible after one year on the market with the DJI Flight simulator. You will not be able to learn using the Simulator.
