That is one of my pet peeves as a DJ looking up and seeing people standing and having conversations on the dance floor or standing alone staring at their phone. The dance floor is for dancing if you want a conversation with your friends and family or if you want to look at your phone that's what the seating at the tables are for

I appreciate your willingness to be brutally honest. Sometimes the event doesn’t go as well as I expected. I appreciated Brian’s comment about how the challenging wedding would have been a disaster for a less experienced DJ, that’s a great take on making the best of it.

I did 40 weddings from May 2024 to New Year's Eve 2024 and I had the best wedding on New Year's Eve. I had the most people dancing I had the most compliments from the bride and groom and guests at this New Year's Eve wedding. Just the whole atmosphere and vibe was the best!

Always catch your show each week, enjoyed the brutal honesty. I feel alot better when I realize I gotta feel grateful for the crazy big events I run into, like the 700 people I provided the sound system for which was a funeral. PS I don't think I want to advertise that I do funerals, it could kill anyone looking to hire me for their wedding. So you think you got problems... I think anybody would feel creepy shaking my hand, thinking "that's the funeral DJ) ( hiding the fact that I do funerals. That made two funerals last year.)
