Fix Jog Wheel Platter Slow Scratch movement not Working Pioneer DDJ SB3

Got this proplem with my Numark platinum, I have to push down in the centre to get it to scratch, RH deck only, it's second hand so must assume that the last owner was a heavy scratcher, what grease did you use for electrical continuity.....thanks for making this video, was going to sell it but not now...

I was afraid to open my unit up but it had gotten so bad I had nothing to lose. After cleaning underneath the jog wheel it works great. One question, is that dielectric grease you used?

man i have the same issue with the FLX6 , the left jog some times i can scratch but then it keep playin gthe song , it slips , but inside its plastic , can you explain what can i do ?? thanks

I have not opened it so i can't lie, but you can open it then connect to the computer, try to touch its mother board near to the jog wheel where attached to find out the problem starts like i shown in this video.

Yea I got the flx 6 and the right jog wheel it doesn’t let me scratch it just flowers or speeds up the song and doesn’t move the song

Try to find the problem step by step, first open it, then connect to the computer, then play song then try to touch its mother board near to the jog wheel where attached to find out the problem starts like i shown in this video.

hi .. i am having this problems ..but to afraid to do that screw at time 3.33 to unhook the two rings .. at time 9.11 .. are you using a normal random wire .. pioneer only give 3 trouble shootings .. change usb cable, take power cable off laptop (?) ..(i assume use laptop battery) and touch laptop (to ground it, which actually works in my case)

3:33 use like knife by pulling up, 9:11 use any non shell wire , make sure you wrap it well so that it connect between motherboard hole and jog wheel iron , then unplug from the Computer to prevent shock
