I just got mine from upgrade from pioneer so far I’m liking it. I think the pads are a little small but it works fine. I love the effect make it easier to apply fast then looking on computer. Worth the price trust me.

Got mine for $140 bucks at guitar center and I got the warranty it came up to almost $200 with the shipping used stuff is better. This week I got the new Gemini PA 300bt arraya speakers 1500 watts with it two 8-in subwoofers to adapters and five speakers at the top it bumps really good can't beat $800 for a pair with the shipping

Glad Numark have gone bigger with the jog wheels. This actually looks lovely for a budget controller, hopefully is a glimpse at future reworks. All we need now is an NS7iv and a Scratch MK2. Numark learning lessons 🕺

I like the controller, but I do hate the MIC input and the LINE outputs. I prefer XLR connections. I also agree about the Pitch slider, it's awesome that it's huge but sucks because there no detent at 0%. I see there's no MIC loop as well. The cross fader isn't field replaceable, not too much of an issue as I don't use a cross fader much. I do like the FX and the JOG displays are pretty cool......

The problems I have with the Numark mixtrack platinum FX Dj controlle. The problem is with the sound card. It doesn't keep the sound stable both on the output and on the headphones, just like on the master, it can suddenly play too loud, as a result of which I have a problem with the speakers and the amplifier, it can even "burn" them if you play the Gain, the sound suddenly comes on loud and then cuts. Another problem is at the beginning of the song when you try to zero in all the songs it makes a weird scratching noise. And in general the sound card does not have good qualities, and good mapping. It does the above for me with both programs, Serato & Virtual Dj. I have also downloaded and passed the latest Firmware v1.10 updater.

I wish Numark can ship their products with Virtual DJ .. reason for this is: I had a Numark Quad with Virtual DJ, and that combination was just a killer setup, loved every second playing on it. Then I bought my FX, installed serato and played with the controller... I was disappointed in what I bought and wanted to trade the FX for my old QUAD ... but then I thought, lets give Virtual DJ a go. and WOW.. everything just popped up and the features was available, there is just no comparison between playing the FX on serato VS. playing FX on Virtual DJ .... I would strongly advise anyone to try this controller with Virtual DJ before you think the controller is not worth the money you payed for it.. (just my thought) BIG SHOUTOUT TO Numark : Please ship your products with Virtual DJ (or at least both)... serato does not give your products 10% credit on what it can really do..

I got it delivered today and I feel totally lost using it with iPad and Djay . I can’t get the effects work for some reason. To begin with they started fine but was showing random numbers then I found and select the Deck one and Deck 2 and made the other “ sleep “ then wasn’t able to use the effects. But they are looking really good.

I've often heard the jog wheels being too heavy for scratching, which is something I would be interested in doing. However, it offers so many features for a beginner DJ like me as a proper first controller. I do not know if that should be a deal breaker, and go for something like the pioneer ddj-400

Man.. someone please help me! I must be retarted or something cause I cannot get scratch mode(/vinyl mode) to work! I sware I did what this guy has done and it just won't work! I really really like this controller. Got it a few days ago, but YEARRGH!! This is my main issue right now. Also. Does anyone know how I can get the stop/pause to slow and stop as if it was vinyl? Not an abrupt stop but a slow to a stop as if I pressed stop/pause on a turntable?

The jogs are nice and big but how do they feel? Are they heavy? Do they spin freely? The original Mixtrack Platinum couldn't do back spins because the jogs have so much resistance to them...

Pretty sure that it will be midi mapped with Algoriddim Djay which you can use on a phone / iPda although they have cut ties with Spotify now. Stick with Tidal!

Djkit always does a good job at reviewing products like they did here . The fader cut fx sounds terrible , which im not surprised , its essentially an off beat transform. If your a dj whos looking to buy this because of this feature i suggest not to , instead go practice .. Youll thank me later

Thank you! To be honest, I think the Fader Cut would sound better on a scratch sample that was a fixed BPM, as the transform cuts probably relate to that.

I used to have the very old outdated numark mixtrack pro from 2010 so the SB3 was a great step up and my mixes sound 20x better! Hope you have fun with the Numark Plat FX2 🙌🏻
