RCSparks Studio happy Mother's Day Jem!!! I have trucks with both 1.9's and 2.2's.. my scx10 has 1.9 TSL SX super swampers, that I am quite pleased with. Work great in mud and dirt, while still performing very well on rocks and various other materials.. My other truck an Red Cat Everest10 I recently upgraded to 2.2 pit bulls, and I must say, this tires have massive amounts of traction! If only I weighted the front of this truck, it would most likely out perform my scx10

Always good to see women in the hobby. my 14 y.o. daughter, a very girly girl, has shown no interest in rc...except when it comes to tinkering with or fixing her younger brother's Sl4sh. Yesterday she replaced the "axle yoke thingy" and the "A arm" for her Bubbie. Can't wait for the next episode. Happy mother's day.

The tires that come with the scx10ii are great in my opinion. I used them on mine for a while but instead got maxxis trepadors since they work better for my environment. For a dry and rocky environment those stock tires will do great.

i like this seeing Jem building..... its something different i was also watching esp and they have axel Wars i was wishing someone have something for all builds. i would love to see my truck being showed off and everyone gives me feed back on how to be better its a great way to bring the community together. have feedback by different classes .

I use a little Ryobi drill all the time. Use it for most of the install and then hand tighten when it gets close. This has been a really enjoyable series.

I think 2.2 on that build would look tough, but go with what ever you think is going to get you around the best. I was waiting all week to see this AWESOME JOB JEM. I love that she is taking the time to go get help if she needs it and is not afraid to admit it. I really love the tires that are on Pinky. Excellent build series! It makes me want a new kit to build now, ahhhhh! Jem is nailing it! You guys are a great team and I also dig the Kobalt tools, great bang for the buck. Building one from ground up gives a great reference point for future mods and almost completely eliminates the guess work. Again, very cool guys! 👌👍🤘

For tires, id recommend the Proline Flat Iron XL's. I use them in snow, mud, rock, decomposing granite, dirt, sand, nothing phases them. a quick tap of the trigger and they self clean nicely. and would look good on that rig. they are a little larger than the stock tires, even as 1.9s. so it may give you the happy medium between 1.9 and 2.2.

Jem and I got lucky one day, when I bought us tickets to a show in Calgary - We were close enough to the sound booth where they were recording a live set - and we can hear ourselves cheering in the opening song when they took the stage. Still have the recording.. its awesome!

Thanks for the tips Jem. The shocks are fitting as my middle girl hit a hole with my E-maxx and bust up the upper and lower rear a-arms, pins and shocks. Looks like I'll be rebuilding two shocks, just waiting on the RPM arms (yay an upgrade).

Jem the 1.9s look great under the truck I think if you get 2.2s you might loose some articulation off the stock truck. I love the channel and watch every video on the channel. This was the channel that got me inspired to do rc
