it would skyrocket his confidence imo , leading to much better career. look at what happened to alcaraz. novak couldnt enter the tournament due to vaccination status. alcaraz won, rest is history. now hes won many more is one of the best in the game right now. that title was the turning point of his career. who knows how it would look if he didnt win that tournament.

When the match started Tstsipas had nothing to lose, after he led by 2-0 he had everything to lose and he couldn’t handle the pressure of possibly wining his 1st slam !!!!

Things could have been different for Tsitsipas had he won this match after getting a 2-0 lead. He was never the same mentally after this, and it's just a complete mess now. Hope he can regain the confidence he had in the first half of 2021

I think I have never watched the highlights of this match but the live one. And watching this in 2024 before Rolland Garros, I have noticed 3 things. 1. The level of tennis Tsitsipas showed in the 1st two sets is unparalleled clay court tennis. 2. The level of fitness and stamina Djokovic showed along with commitment in this match is 2nd to none. 3. No ticket or amount money can buy a tennis match like this. This was a duel of Gods! ❤❤❤

Tsitsipas was outstanding during the CC season 2021 and dominated this final before choking. Had he won, he likely would be a multiple slam winner by now. Instead, he's now a shadow of the player he was 3 years ago.

Tsitsipas’s biggest weakness - the backhand. He just looks so awkward on that side and coughs up a lot of short balls. His confidence just gradually decreased as he lost the 2-0 lead and resorted to slicing everything off his backhand.
