29:20 he literally just told you, that you are the product… Decentralized distribution but only when you sign up to get paid… It’s like, instead of me sending you 100+ FL studio templates when you sign up to my email list, I just give you $0.50 instead.. Not equal value. Ultimately, the main difference about this model is that people are lazy, algorithmic reach forces people to see ads, whether someone decides to post or not

THIS HEAT IS CRAZY
@BenCaesar4 ай бұрын
This is dope, I been in the web 3 space for years and this was a key component that drew me to it - being able to mobilize your community and build an ecosystem. I’ll share what I learnt early tho : all of this gives you more tools and power over your community engagement but it also give you (big word) Responsibility. You will be held accountable so make sure you test processes and test smart contracts and UX before launch. Cos if something goes south - you’re promising money to people and that changes the dynamic and expectation and your reputation on this playing field is everything. But man I’m so happy we’re finally getting proper solutions, let’s beat the algorithm.

Where and what links do you have that show producers talking about youtube making it hard for the videos to receive traffic?

My guitar performance videos get good like to view ratios but don’t get reach. y the algorithm after like 100 plays. They get buried. So I imagine the same is true for producers.

@@DJPain1 no its the Andrew Tate with block chain added. turning your albums into a smart contract ... and at that time an nft was the most you could do with a song . this part of web 3 hadn't been drawn out entirely yet. he was reaching for this model before it was thought of. nft was lowest hanging fruit

@@poelogan bruh this is probably your first time hearing any of these concepts layed out like this. I had this idea 4 years ago and already started building an application to handle my own content in blockchain . when you actually understand something u dont need to give a fake woke 500 word essay . simplicity isn't "low resolution" . u sound like u complain about ppl not being on the same wavlength as you.... when you look at the line at mcdonalds you say "oh god look at all those people vibrating on such a low energy level" gtfoh . since blockchain tech came out in the early 2010's one of the key points of interest and utilization was DIGITAL MEDIA COPYrights , TRACKING OWNERSHIP across the web AND the overall monetization of said media. totally circumventing the existing mafia business structure/ legacy media cartel. sorry you just got hip brodie .... formless isn't turning your songs into coins, I'm pretty sure they are just smart contracts. but what do smart contracts rely on?? what does the gas fee that creates and shares the smart contracts rely on ??? crypto CURREN$Y , WHICH ARE COINS OR TOKENS. WHICH ALBUMS or artists themselves WILL BE CONVERTED TO eventually . instead of an ipo representing the economic flow of a company. we will start launching coins/tokens in the same manner. so here's a 500 word essay for you to read and look stupid cause u have no real point of reference on any of this stuff in all actuality

Why is everything dude says about “Revenue”, “Money”, “Transaction” ?? Web3 is way too complicated right now for the average Joe to adopt it. The content I put out utilizing the platform isn’t complicated to the average user. There’s an option to connect a (web3) wallet, but there’s also apple/google pay, and a credit card option. Have you watched or looked into any of their videos on their KZbin page (or main website)? I’m curious about your takeaways from this particular video versus the videos on Formless’ page…

Is it a brainfart, or am I just dumb and deeply cryptophobic? I want to understand, but I don't get it yet. I don't have a product or an audience or a brand or a mission. We’ve been watching and trying to figure it out for 2 years lol… so no worries. It’s a process.
