GREAT AS ALWAYS .. MY ONLY QUESTION IS WHY DO U CONTINUE TO USE 240v tools .. 110v Should always be used esp external works ..
@rwrice5356 Жыл бұрын
@makg4655 The UK uses 230v as standard on machines and home appliances. We in the US use 110v as a standard. Our US tools won't work in the UK without a converter.
@AA-zc2ob Жыл бұрын
110v tools should really be used for construction works!! 240v can kill, 110v gives you a buzz!!!
@wmpsw01 Жыл бұрын
Power tools used on building sites in the UK typically use 110V because it is safer for construction workers. The higher voltage of 240V poses a greater risk of electric shock and injury. Additionally, 110V power tools are often used in conjunction with portable transformers, which allow for greater flexibility and ease of use on a construction site. These portable transformers can step down the 240V supply to 110V, making it safer for use with power tools. In this way, it is not actually necessary for the national grid to provide 110V power.

The D&J family are a good example for why I will always support KZbin channels like this, because if money from KZbin helps put you in a better position to help others then, for me it’s win win. But also you deserve to reap rewards from KZbin too. Tell Aznee and Scott to film their stuff too, it’s as if they’ve done themselves an injustice not filming their hard work on that job.

A memory of love and kindness. D&J's contribution to the free project will bless many for years to come. Thanks! It's good to see some of the lads like Ant be able to work on a project without Dave or Steve having to be present . Ant has done so many fence jobs with Steve, that he could probably do them in his sleep. ( Probably has had several dreams about them)😊 Another great week at D&J. As Dave said " not to shabby" I've loved that phrase ever since I first heard Steve say it almost two years ago. Stay safe, healthy, and blessed

Well done guys another top week at D&J. As a sparky I would always recommend on cable warning tape being installed between 150mm- 300mm above the cable to give the digger shovel a chance to “discover” the tape before hitting the cable, but what a generous donation from D&J for all that work. 👏👏 Sparky Phil

be aware polishing that scratch on the truck door with normal polishes or compound will make it turn glossy rather than the matt/satin finish it should be. if you want to polish it make sure you get some polish for matt paints. something like Menzerna liquid matt will work on matt paintwork

Afternoon D&J team and thank you for your help and support on the school project it’s a shame that you couldn’t get the concrete until next week but at least we know what you will be doing next Friday. It’s good to help others less fortunate than yourselves and the satisfaction that you’ll feel is great but it’s nothing compared to the feeling the the people using the facilities that you helped build will be feeling. Give each other a big pat on the others back and congratulate each other on a job well done and given. If only every small to medium company would give up a weeks work to help others less fortunate than themselves what a better place we’d be living in all round. Anyway big well done to the D&J team as it takes the full team to get a job like this done in one way or another.🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤

All in all this was an excellent video. Such a mix of different jobs just shows the versatility of D&J and, importantly, the quality of work they provide. I just hope some other businesses undertaking similar jobs watch and and realise the benefits of craftsmanship, dedication, and the right attitude not only reflects the business model they should endeavour to achieve but also how business grows from excellence through word of mouth. Customers pay good money for a good job, copy D&J and follow suit!

It looks like the warning tape is right on top of the cable. Would it not be better to fill in some soil first and then put the marker tape down, that way there is a bit of a buffer between when someone would hit the tape and when they would hit the cable. Or is that against regulations?

What a wonderful company you are. So kind and thoughtful to all your employees. You get more work from people by looking after them properly, it is a shame there aren't more like you. You give them the feeling that they are part of your family, and it shows with the lovely work they do, they all take pride in their work. The latest idea to help out with working for free to make something better for the community is a lovely idea.
