The customer gets what the customer wants. In this case it definitely wouldn't have been my choice. The retaining wall; for the sake of a few pounds more I would have had completely new gravel boards rather than mixed old & new. The castellated boards look hiddeous mixed with new & old gravel boards to be honest. A replacement timber fence would have look more aesthetically pleasing and would have 'softened' the brutalist look and made the space more attractive. A garden should be an oasis of calm. If that house was for sale, they have knocked a fair few thousands off by keeping all that concrete.......but that is their choice. A lot of hard work in that job - you all worked your backs off!

Well done lads i used to handball 48.5 tons a day between 2 of us 5 days a week palletise the lot shrinkwrap them then put them into the wharehouse 8 am until 7/8pm at night so i know what you lads are going through hard work has its rewards your buisness at d&j will grow by it good luck to you all as i watch almost everyone of your vids

What a great way to generate business, as I imagine there are many properties in Nottingham and the surrounding areas, who have this style of fencing which is failing. So expect a 'new for old' run on D&J for replacement posts and Castle style gravel boards.

I had a heavy! job back in the late 1970s that I carried on doing into the late 1980s I retired after 45 years of truck driving nearly two years ago, because my knees and back wouldn’t let me work anymore. 🥵 you’re right Steve more hands make light work, look after your health because your! job will catch up with you. 👍
