@12:15 - The heron is the reason there are no cygnets. Herons eat them. They also eat ducklings, other young birds, including their own chicks.

It is a grey heron fishing. Birds moult worn damaged feathers so they have new feathers in good condition for flying.

I have been thinking the same thing! I like the fences and the pavers lol I'm in FL and my HOA makes me have a black iron fence with no privacy and I also can't do anything with my yard but water it and keep it edged and mowed. Too bad the UK is so cold! Haha

That 1st bird looks like a plump pigeon & the 2nd one in the water is a heron. Some people refer to it as a crane. I love the wildlife where you are. Nice that you include animals & birds in your amazing videos. Big thumbs up from California.

I believe the bird you saw is a Crane. A Heron is a defined curve in its neck whereas a crane has a long straight neck. Love the wildlife!

Nice work. Instead of offering custom panels to make up the 4 or 6 inch gaps at the top you can always get a bit of treated 6x2 or 4x2 to go 7nder the panels before you slide them in to bring the height up to the top of the concrete. Done this a few times myself and works out great and costs next to nothing
