I’ve just stumbled across your vids today. Watching this one and the other video where you unpacked the block former. The company I work for move thousands of them each year. The once we move have a little steel button recessed in the top right in the middle. You then have a little 1/4 or 1/2 turn lifting thing that locks onto the button. Depending which blocks we move one or two with out 5t forklift at a time and we stack them like that in the yard when we need to offload them. If you’d like I’d be able to get some pics next week if you’d be interested.

I am familiar with using the blocks for retaining wall construction and for bulk material separation. In California we frequently refer to them as Ecoblocks. What are the called else where? I like the fact your blocks can be cross stacked but I like the ones I usually see that have a loop of rebar that allows them to be picked up with a chain off a loader bucket or excavator. Your lifting frame is nice but the ability to use a “crane” seems more convenient

Great video, find the building trade fascinating and got to say the featheredge panel construction was ace! I have a question, I bought around 40 8ft posts for my garden from a local business like yours, they make their own. After their landscaper installed them along with panels the posts pretty much all cracked and broke, normal general UK weather nothing too major. When I contacted the business they told me the fitter was to blame and that he 'must've not secured the posts on his truck'. When I got someone in to replace all of these posts they said the post mix was wrong of the broken posts. Would you guys say the mix was wrong from the very limited description above OR would you say it was the fitters fault? Thanks in advance
@DJProjectss3 жыл бұрын
Maybe one or two posts could crack in transit but all or most of them seems a bit unlikely. Sounds like the concrete mix could have been too weak, but only a guess of course because we haven’t seen them!
@HarrySingh-gb8xq3 жыл бұрын
@@DJProjectss Thanks for your reply. This was exactly what I said to the business and they refused to accept any responsibility, a shame really as it shows what the company does when s**t goes wrong. They were cheap and I learnt my lesson the expensive way, £8 per 8ft post. I did manage to find a decent company after who did a grand job just a shame this company didn't face up to any errors on their part. Anyway thanks again for your reply and keep the videos coming, as one of your other viewers said your videos make better viewing than Sky TV!

Just a couple of tips; 1) Don't refer to those blocks by the L word. The people that own that trademark get upset - Ashville had issues when their channel took off as they make them too. 2) Watch out for the music on in the warehouse - KZbin might pick that up and mute the audio out, or demonetise a video. Otherwise keep up the good work :D
