Damn man, this just took me waaayyyyy back. Got my first 1200 freshman yr of HS (96' - yeah I'm old...fml). Second 1200 sophmore and finally got rid of my garbage pioneer and was in heaven with that butter smooth fader jr. year. I crabbed that fader to death multiple times. I see you still got it. I haven't touched one since college but I bet it's like riding a bike. The decks being closer was a game changer for my juggling. Legendary S*** mate.

I have the same mixer which I picked up a few months back for about £60 and when I opened it up it had a P&G crossfader in it. Cleaned all the faders and they are working nicely now.

how is the phono preamp quality on this mixer? im not much of a scratch DJ, but id love to have a smaller mixer for record shop sets. I mostly spin rare groove/jazz/etc so the audio quality is pretty important to me. looking at different options since I can't afford a bozak or Urei lol

I had 06 as well. I also had the grey Vestax T-shaped mixer for a while. I went down to a shop in London on my own just to buy it, back in '98. I got rid of it after 6 months, because the fader was too stiff.

You should put the spacers on the fader to modify the cut space to have it a lot sharper. I did it to mine it works great!

i've been thinking of putting an innofader in mine. the old ALPS fader still works but it's seen better days.
