I do it completely different. I’m all inclusive. It’s all about perceived value. I charge one price. That comes with everything we offer. You don’t want some options? That’s fine. You still pay the same price. Brides (and grooms) LOVE this. They feel like they’re getting a great deal. I’m higher priced than my completion, but when they learn that I won’t “upsell” them on ANYTHING. I also am proud that I’ve booked ALL but only one lead, that’s come in to me, in the last 10 years.

So someone takes the time do display their strategy and marketing technique. Detailed and a super helpful guide for something that many DJs have no real concept of how to do well and your contribution is tell us your dumb ass strategy in a comment section. OK show us your stuff bud.... Also booking every lead but one tells us a lot about your strategy. You know what Toyota would do if they sold every single car but 1? They would realize they are selling way under market value or they only made 4 cars.

#Squad. I've bounced back and fourth between Ala cart and packages the last 4 years. I'm thinking maybe the bundles. I did have a package system for years where a client could choose 1 item, second they got to choose 2, third choose three etc., and fourth got to choose four.

I find this all very corny. Do ppl really use this brochure nonsense…seems extremely overwhelming. I set a price and stick with it $1500-$2k. $2k for more lighting, moving heads etc. i do not charge by the hour and i don’t partner with anybody.

If you bundle your DJ talents with your lighting and stuff you make it to where your DJ skill is masked with lights and fluff. Just personal opinion. Having the DJ by itself stand at a price point puts your value in your talents.
