I have a theory about MMPR. I think it's 100% done. You can find video out there, on the actors FB pages with scenes they shot with full special effects. My theory is that someone, probably Saban came down hard on them and pushed a cease and desist. Saban is very protective of his IP. Usually when this happens, people will announce it and close the project but the $40,000 was already spent. So they complied with Saban and just vanished because they didn't have $40,000 to refund. They released a "short" 100% edited on the facebook page which is still active with fans and I believe this short was able to be released because it contained almost no MMPR content at all. Also, I believe it contained a scene with a fan who paid for a top tier donation that put him in the movie so this was them giving what was promised maybe to avoid a lawsuit. I honestly believe there is enough content to do a video on MMPR alone and I can help with that if you want. Yes I donated to it, this should be obvious by now.

That would make sense. Otherwise they could just release the film as-is to backers and maybe do a second Kickstarter to finish post-production.

I agree, or at least that it was something along those lines. Every time Slope paused for a breath, I was thinking "And then Saban got involved." Because Saban ALWAYS got involved. But not this time? @medes55975 жыл бұрын
@@md_vandenberg I mean obviously. What's the point of this comment? I like films, I like Jimmy Cagney, I grew up watching old movies on BBC2 as a kid and because of that, something that was obvious to me was not obvious to others. I assumed that people knew more about Jimmy Cagney than they do because I forget that not everyone spent their childhood watching black and white movies or that not everyone even finds old movies interesting or even watchable. Of course there are things that are more important that I would like people to know about. However knowing about a movie from 1938 doesn't preclude people from knowing other, more important things like you seem to think. They either know about Cagney shotuing "MADE IT MA, TOP OF THE WORLD" or they know, say, that Chicago Police had a secret building where they would illegally take people and interrogate them. But they can't possibly know both. I can't expect people to know that the film in home alone is fake _and_ to know useful things. That's just expecting way too much apparently. Seriously what was this comment for? You didn't say anything except smugly say that "well I don't think Jimmy Cagney movies are that important ackshully and I would rather people know other things!" which is an opinion literally no one is going to contradict because its so fucking obvious.

I kind of wish someone would touch on the Alice: Otherlands Kickstarter success/failure. The Kickstarter promised a series of shorts about Alice- from the game American Mcgee's Alice- going through the minds of various other popular geniuses and madmen. Such as Jules Verne, Van Gogh, and quite a few others. The Kickstarter suggested a series of shorts, but in the end only finished two ten minute shorts. They claimed that they were only able to use $80,000 on the shorts themselves, but $80,000 for twenty minutes on a DVD... Seems questionable. Not to mention that the production of the DVDs seemed to take an abnormally long time, and the promise that the shorts would round up the Alice trilogy was either an exaggeration or a bluff. To their credit, backer rewards were delivered. Now there's a new game proposition that is suspected to be crowdfunded as well. Maybe it'll go better because it's a game, but it's still concerning. I love a good deal of Mcgee's work and the game sounds interesting, but I have trouble ignoring what happened with Otherlands.

3:12 It was released in 2015, if that movie came out in 2005, it would have predicted (and invented) a whole lot of world changing technology yet to come.

The pulp fiction 2 dude obviously rented that house from airbnb.

Wow- I forgot about that movie- I saw hardcore Henry in theatres with two friends when We were semi homeless in Florida , high as heck on heroin, benzos, and crack… I don’t remember a ton of it because I kept nodding out, but what I remember was pretty cool! But I think I can say that at that time, my life was more action filled and interesting, dangerous, and “hardcore” than the movie! God damn!

I love how the guy making the Pulp Fiction sequel sounds and acts like a bad villain from a Tarantino or Rodriguez film. Viva La Frog!

I never knew of this MMPR fan film but there's loads out there anyway and this one looks a lot like Adi Shankar's POWER/RANGERS. Honestly, I would rather wait for an official reunion production backed by Hasbro.

Odd to think that a fusion of Hercule and Wolverine got hold of a supposed screenplay for Pulp Fiction 2

Safersephiroth777 WOW, thanks asshole, I never could have figured that out, given that was the information we were all already told, hence why I asked what his deal was, I.e. WHY he wanted it removed.

@medes55975 жыл бұрын
@@wolfenman1013 a lot of people think the rat is too obvious and ruins the film (like "oh he was a rat, so there's a literal rat!" which isn't actually what was intended but it's how it's taken).
