I've been a fan of worms ever since my nan got me into the game which was Worms 2 and Armageddon, To this day I still play Worms Armageddon on the Xbox and I even have a tattoo of a worm holding a Holy Hand Grenade, Me and nan would always play Worms Armageddon and she would mostly hid up the top of the terrain and fire bazookas and grenades down at me, god I miss playing Worms with my nan.

One of my favorite franchises of all time.

Without doubt the best arcade game of all time and imho the one that paved the way for all space games to come I lived in Portmouth UK as a kid in the early 80s and the fair was full of arcades. We had Scrambler, Gorf, Asteriods and Defender, Pheonix and so many more, they were a kids dream and kept me skint for most of my childhood. Even now at the age of 52 I cannot get arid of the bug because games like this rewrired the brains of children and became our opium.

Very interesting you say they wanted to work with taito for space invaders and namco. Because eventually taito would release space invaders extreme which imo has a lot of similarities to rez with its neon light visuals and techno music. Same thing happened with namco but with pac man championship edition. A lot of similarities
