All these people saying bring back the tape machine, have a look at yourself. He adds a great dynamic and makes the tracks more live. You can have your tape machine on the albums

Forget the dynamic and all the hitting and bashing about in his star ship enterprise drum kit. Just have a listen. The drums sound awful. Shouldn't the sound get better with time and tech not worse. I don`t mind a drummer in the band in fact I absolutely love the different sound that Alan had when ever he did it. I just wish they sort the sound out.

@@ramseysounds2086 I think it`s a collective as obviously the band have a say in the sound direction. but yes it`s not the drummer, Christian is a brilliant drummer too good a drummer for DM and the style thats needed there.

Glad Depeche Mode got a live drummer. Drum machines are great for the studio but live no one wants to pay to see a band playing along with fake drums in the background. Unless you like mumble rap, reggaeton or some cheesy techno.

What? Hi get DM Higher and Higher . Better was never . For me Hi IS a Depeche Mode. Best Drummers for ME IS Christian and Ralf Gustke , band from Xavier Naidoo or Söhne Mannheims.

The live drums sound shite. they should have a tape for the tracks live drums don`t suit and a better sound for the tracks that need hard drums. Devotional tour is a good example to follow.

Tape and playback and dance Dave with no microfon. THIS music Man , for me Music from DM now 1000 much better Like before , sow futuristing so Real and THIS Songs i Here real now ,much more Like with Clark . But never Forget DM IS a not disco 80 ist Beast of Music Its probably best Band in The History of Music and THEY are grow Up so gut ,DM was never behind, the still the Best and THAN Long Long Time nothing . Bands of 5 good Music .

the man who began his personal startup in Depeche Mode in 1998 and still doesn't learn how much is enough for electric sound band. Has nothing to do with sound of Depeche Mode as Alan Wilder had. Only Peter Gordeno and his let's say additions can be worse than Eigner's drumming.
