Agreed. I saw him live in LA a few weeks ago, and his stage presence is just great. He played for hours and not once looked tired; you can tell he truly enjoys his job and loves music and fans. I don't know him personally, but after seeing this and seeing him perform live, he seems like a genuinely nice guy who's very down to earth.

I love how Armin is humble & absolutely real. This is a DJ that truly services and appreciates his fans. With his shows, it's not about the separation of the DJ & the crowd, but the coming together of it all as one. Goosebumps.

So many great points he made. The one I wish more people would listen to is "You're playing too loud" It totally destroys the music if all we hear are humming subs

So inspiring. Armin is definitively my favourite "veteran" dj. He still keep the essence of what makes a good dj and still lifes for the music. Im so greatfull that my older cousin showed me this music when i was like 10...

Damn man, I LOVE YOU ARMIN! I just recently started DJing back in December, but I took a huge break from it the past couple of months cause I thought I was progressing as a DJ, but then last night I played at a house party and it revitalized my love for the music. After watching this, I'm going to keep practicing and try to get better. His words were truly inspiring!

You said pretty much ALL I had in my mind, dude. I particularly am a big fan on Trance Music but that doesn't really matter. What matter is that Armin brought a lot of spiring stuff for us all. I've seen some inteviews where he speaks for an hour or so. But i think this one was the best i've ever seen. DJTECHTOOLS keep up with this spiring interviews!!

He's a bar certified lawyer so he doesn't need one. His dad said if he could pass the bar he would let him choose his career well he did the right path. No one else has this energy that's impossible to describe that even just speaking with him is great. One of the best interviews btw

His interviews are almost as good to listen to as his music, he's so straight forward and professional, you can take on board everything he has to say, I'm not a DJ but I would imagine he is a huge inspiration to up & coming DJs, not only by his music but his attitude towards it, what a guy!! Seen him in Glasgow last year, what a night!!
@EdwardSanchezMusic3 жыл бұрын
Armin I have been listening since 2004, and he's the reason I DJ today, and wow do i agree w everything he said, specially about building a set and reading your crowd, I have come upon many different clubs and atmospheres, like he said he Tours, but in a Club or a Bar people don't know you, and some may not like the first track you spinned, no genre, I know when to Spin Hip Pop i know when to Spin Techno, I know when to Spin more club music like Trance or even Rap, here in Chicago everyone wants Rap or Latin Music, but if you know how to master a set on improv those people are gonna end up dancing to anything you Cue next. Exactly what a True Dj does. Mixing techniques are also very important.

Not a fan of trance but its definitely great music. I am sad to see it struggling. I've always loved Armin though. Always a good time. Words of wisdom here bedroom DJs. DJs harness infinity, the sounds are infinite. Musicians know the sound of every note on their instrument. That is how Beethoven was able to compose deaf. But DJs have infinite options and the legends do really spectacular work. Trance has melody to help it along. Communications makes you feel...
