Man, you're the best. More than 4 years (oct/2014) ago i've started to practice djying and i've been watching every single video that you upload. Beat counting, phrasing, reviews, scratch sessions, share the knowledge, etc. I've started on a small controller, upgraded to a bigger one, tried cdjs and now i have a pair of turntables (plx1000), a mixer (djm 450) and a midi controller (ddj xp1) and I STILL watching you. I've watched this tutorial 4 years ago and i'm watching again now because now i want to take the djying to another level, doing perfomances and routines (i'm a hobbyist) and you are the man with the best didact. You are great man! Thank you!

Could you do a video about how you setup your recordplayer, tonearm and needle? Yours never skips... mine does almost instantly i do a stab or even a slow baby scratch. That would be more great if i can finaly fix that problem!

Hi guys, Due to health issues I couldn't finish video's I was working on (NS7-2 review) and I can't record new video's either. I lost my voice over the weekend and that makes it a bit difficult to record stuff ;) I should be fine in a couple of days so stay tuned! For the DJ's who would like to be part of the Saturday Super Session: Join the Saturday Super Session and send me your own video!

Been watching all kinds or tutorials online. Usually left scratching my head. But these tutorials have really broken things down in easy to understand steps that really make sense. Really hoping for more. Although these will keep me busy for a while. Looking forward to more. #fingerscrossed

My man!! I got my turn tables about 3 weeks ago and I've been practicing these first 6 videos for hourrsssss. People ask me who's been teaching me and I tell them KZbin. But it's not KZbin, YOU have been my teacher, I really appreciate it! You got me all excited for part 7 and I can't find it on your channel, am I missing it or has it yet to be released. Thanks bro, you're a beast!!!

Shout out to DJTLM for sharing the knowledge. Been bedroom DJing for a couple years and got to a point of being OK , not great and kinda doing the same things over and over without improvement. TLM's vids on scratching and mixing have really cut to the point of some of the areas i have struggled with and i am definitely seeing improvement. Gifted teacher.

Just came across you about a week ago, watched all of your scratch tutorials and wanting to learn how to scratch, I'm an experienced DJ but never ventured into scratching so I am appreciative of these videos! I love the simplicity and would like to see some more videos on scratching techniques (maybe an advanced tutorial on the cross fader usage) I am now working my way through your soundcloud mixtapes! Look forward to hearing more from you and hopefully as I practice I may be good enough to send a video into your Saturday Sessions. Thanks for your videos and content Ajay

Hey T! I'm working very hard.. but i don't have serato, so I can't use your sounds. Can you recommend me a vinyl, that includes good and different sounds I can use for scratches? Maybe a LP that you used often?
@djTLMtv11 жыл бұрын
Yes, you should check out thudrumble.com for some good ones. I suggest Skratchy Seal - Super Seal because this is a 'skipless' record. They pressed the sounds in a way that if the needle skips, you are still on the same sound. Very cool! If I can find my copy I will use it in the next session video so you can see it
