Would've been nice to have atleast one more reliable weapon that would make defense avoid double covering DK. You already know teams plan for Lockett and Metcalf. I don't think they care much about anyone else on our offense. Everett has been butterfingers, Freddie Swain/Penny Hart ummm defenses don't care about them. I feel like most teams also just play deep on DK's side cause you know he's got that speed for it.

I'm pretty sure DK is top 10 in TD receptions. I had DK at 1400 yds and 14 TD's. I was off a bit.

@@haffy03 if we could’ve gotten more first downs, more momentum. He could’ve easily done those numbers. There were games where metcalf was targeted like 2 times and there were games where he was targeted 5 times but every throw was a 60 yard double coverage sideline toe tap jump ball, which is insane to expect him to make those every time. He has so so so much potential, and I hope he has a first ballot Hall of fame carrier

As a ole miss fan, when I heard the Seahawks got DK at pick 64, i remember thinking that they got a top ten pick at the final pick of the second round. But what I said out loud was “it’s free real estate”. And then my friend who just told me about DK getting picked at 64 (he is a guy who only watches the NFL) was super confused because he didn’t know anything about DK. So I just said “the Seahawks just got an amazing player for free ”.

Just think that a 1000 yrds or close to it is a down year for DK!! Dudes more than capable of averaging 5-8 rec a game with a 100 yrds. Still waiting for him to break 1500 like he was suppose to this year. We missed him on so many opportunities he should have had way more yrds and TDs. Cant wait for this next season when everyones healthy.

He was NOT playing better than Wilson outside of Wilson's injury LMFAO. He took way longer to throw the ball and took far more sacks per game. Just because DK had slightly better stats with Geno does NOT mean Geno was playing better.

I think Russ is great but he targeted Lockett at least twice as much as Metcalf but Metcalf definitely deserved an even share, especially given how many of those targets to Lockett were into double or triple coverage. Drew Lock is just going to throw it to Metcalf and pray for a big play. Metcalf is the type of play that will deliver.

Everett is not on the team - gone. Eskridge was hurt much of the season. Russ doesn't like checkdowns, but also doesn't throw balls up back shoulder like Geno did against the Jags - Russ likes bullets over the middle and moonshots to the sidelines. Russ gone too so your comment won't apply much this season. DK could be traded next, and probably should be given it's his last year of contract and they probably won't pay him - can't just let him walk with no return at end of the season.

Tyler is not a #1 receiver. DK is running every route in the tree. Slants, curls, outs, go’s, post. Tyler is mostly one sided. Which isn’t bad but DK commands way more doubles and was the reason why Tyler ain’t get lit up on Russell’s moon balls.

He never runs anything towards the middle of the field like a #1 like DK can. Keep in mind DK is getting double teammed and he’s freeing up Wilson and lockett to throw moon balls up the sideline. DK is the X receiver for a reason. Watch football. If Lockett is so good why isn’t Ramsey guarding him.
