DK on the Super Gameboy

This game really uses the SGB to it's full use such as giving us a dk arcade background,extra sounds and a color makeover(while not in gameplay)that makes the game look like if it was on a gameboy color.

i'll be honest it blew me away when i first heard it as it was also my first time i beat it on the SGB. the "HELP HELP!!" was cool too.

So this is DK on (Super) Gameboy with partial color, flipping ninja mario, digitized voices, king kong sized last boss, and seemingly happy ending. Well I'll be damned!

They went all out for this game, didn't they? Pauline yells, "Help, Help!" and the end theme is remixed in 16bits. Didn't know it til I watched this. Brings backs memories, thank you.

The definitive Super Game Boy gimmick cart! Amazing game and actually was a much cooler experience on the big screen. The ending song just rocks.

I used to play this game all the time i got so fusterated one day i was playing it on my gameboy and i broke the screen on my gameboy that's how much the game used to piss me off.

the super gameboy does that. same with the crazy credits music using the spc700 instead of the gb

technically you can do it on the PC with BSNES i think. i never tried it but i think you need the super gameboy BIOS rom and the gb game. experiment! there was also a rumor that the gbc supported Pauline screaming but it was never like that

i used to have this game and i'd play it day and night on my Super Gameboy and it pissed me off cuz i kept dying so i threw the game against the wall and it broke:( i was 13 when i did that i wish i hadn't:(

Only reason it doesn't work on *other* Gameboy consoles is because those consoles are not, I repeat, *NOT,* capable of reading SNES sounds.

i played it on all gameboy systems except the micro. emulation wise the only emulator i used was no$gmb it had the option for super gameboy but like you said lacked the help voice. as for that rumor i heard i found out it was totally bogus when i fired up my GBC and played it. when i peered into why it couldn't i discovered that the game utilized the snes's APU the spc700. MEH

This is my first played on Super Game Boy. I loved this game!!! Super Game Boy better than Game Boy Player on Gamecube.

I have it
