Just wanted to say thanks DK for keeping me informed and entertained with these shots of all my hometown teams. Living in Texas since the 80s,I have never lost my sports loyalties and you help keep that strong!

The most underrated aspect of his play is his net front presence. Something Sids line needs desperately. That's what I'm looking forward to the most. Some of his best highlights are the plays he makes off rebounds to put the puck past the B1G goalies. Also, as a die hard Michigan fan, his leadership cannot be overlooked. All this to say, I'm excited.

3:42 reminds me of how, at RMU, we’d warm up with “nhl passing” where we’d stand in lines facing each other and just absolutely rip passes as hard as we could 😂

Little worried about this trade i really think Yager would have made the team this year. His shot is 2nd to only bedard in that age group, he for sure has that motor you love. Hardest worker I've seen here since theo fleury's rookie season backchecks with purpose not blindly stating hard. I hope I'm slightly wrong but Yager was standing out almost at that bedard level 2 years ago not as flashy but he showed more heart and no mistakes. Perfect person for sid i thought. You can be 175 and play in the nhl these days. He'll probably be pushing 180 by start of season.

I think Yeger was a year out but I agree with everything else here. Since Rutger already had wanted out I would have rather given up a 1st rounder and a lower prospect. Especially since it took Winnipeg a month and a half to get this done. That tells me teams weren't throwing the kitchen sink at at this. Yager and Howe would have been untouchables.yhe mold of what Howe could be is my dream winger of what I wish Sid what have always had. Imagine Sid and Marchamd together. Deadly! Haha I remember when Jake came out he did try to overpass too. Sid had to tell him to shoot to. Jake caught on pretty quick though (: I miss Jake

@@brandonconnelly6562 this what the jets gm said today. Kevin Cheveldayoff is unable to clarify Rutger McGroarty's reasons for a trade request. Cheveldayoff says McGroarty's camp texted him at the combine in June. Met with his agent, then McGroarty himself several days later to ask why. "He said he just didn't feel right." That seems like a childish answer hope is false
@brandonconnelly65622 ай бұрын
@@Bearhoff yeah I heard that too. He was unhappy they weren't bringing him in and unhappy with the way Perfetti was treated this year when he did make the squad. I guess we'll see how it goes. I mean he was the captain of Team USA. Hopefully that indicates the type of player he is more than a trade request. Only time will tell

Hardest worker since Theo Fleury? Huh?
@willie93972 ай бұрын
Now go get Robertson and have a stacked left side, youth and and bright future, with Howe on the way you have a Bunting replacement in 2-3 years. This team suddenly is gaining a new identity
@shawnknudson13932 ай бұрын
2nd line Bunting Malkin Mcroarty, move Rakell down. Malkin gets back to cycling cuz the other two are being pests low and have hands and strength to pass if need be low to high or in tight. Bonus: Karlsson has 2 bodies constantly infront to get a puck to. Luke Hughes was his D man for a while so he definitely works well with offensive defensemen

I think the team could do something similar to last year when they would rotate smith and O’Connor on the first line with Rutger and O’Connor this year.
@BG18852 ай бұрын
IMO, first thing he should be doing is working with a skating coach to better his speed and edge work. That's the 1 thing Yager was more advanced in. McG's skating needs improvement, he skates like a bottom 6 guy with the talent of a top winger.
@mobileQBpwr22 ай бұрын
If he has the smart hockey sense (like Jake did) to play with Sid then this could be a huge trade. I fear he will get lost a bit on any other line
@TylerOrchowski2 ай бұрын
Top 9 or bust. 3rd line LW is OK to start, but I expect him to earn his way into the top 6. He has to beat out the likes of Beauvillier, Poulin and Hayes, and I think he can.

We need kids to come in with an NHL frame, because this team cannot develop that if they don't.
