The next moves are just tricks, and you can easily find them in youtube if you search them. (look for Yann Lara ) 4:38 : basically pushing more then punching, and the people who take the "punch" are all not in a ready and steady stance. 5:06 : Just simple physics, his center of gravity is good positioned. Just push him upwards and he will lose it. 5:30 : he is using knees and elbows to push him up. and he also has really never sparred or fight in a video, he even declined a sparring request, in a video. Like, you are teaching a way to defend yourself and fight but you never demonstrated it with real fights or real sparrings. im not a hater its just that this looks like a fraud to me.................

I started Martial Arts from the age of 8, and studied numerous forms as I could? with Titles & a way of Life filled with, not only ininner piece and confidence and Confrontation Resolution, but a working system that has saved me in at least 7, Life threatening situations, and being aware of my own capability. Knowing your own capability is a priceless knowledge that can only be found in the ring. You can practice for fitness, Sport or if you are very lucky, the Art takes on a new meaning and focuse to your Life. Every plan will go to Rat, when put in to action. To learn to swim, you throw yourself in, your Survival Instincts kick in, you'll at least float. The only way for your body and Mind to kick start it's internal survival learning. Once you have burnt your hand, your instincts and knowledge will ingrain a more adaptual approach. Without such Life Teachings, you are still living Life in theory. "Boards, don't hit back" Bruce Lee

Much of what he's teaching is from a Russian martial art known as Systema. There is a good reason why wearing a bike helmet and accepting shots to the head is not practiced in real martial arts gyms. All the UFC fanboys talking shit about DK Yoo on here are funny though. Relaxation in combat is something many aspire to but not many achieve it. That is what he stresses, and relaxation in ANY body movement be it combat or any sport is what everyone should aspire to. Funny how the Bruce Lee fanboys screech too.....I am a Bruce Lee fan but BL did not invent anything new but rather broke through the traditional nonsense that had been the standard for decades. His fight skills are for life situations mma are for sport. there’s rules where some of this guys moves will be illegal in a mma ring where his most effective and dangerous moves won’t be able to be use. so he will be limited where a mma fighter would have a firm grasp of the rules and knows what he can and can’t do. for mma the rules a set so no one gets fatally injured where in DK YOO rules are set to take the opponent out fatally but in a energy efficient way where you don’t excerpt your energy in throwing a punch maximum power minimal effort is his way so in saying all that put them in a no holds bard fight like no rules just straight fight skill and strength and I’m 💯% sure DK YOO will win have you guys seen his training videos where the guys have to wear motorcycle helmets wile he demonstrates his moves now that speaks volumes but to me I think DK YOO is a mma fighter he has a multitude of disciplines under his belt - wing chun - tai chi - taekwondo - boxing - savate - aikido- sanda - shoulin Kung fu - wu shu -systema just to name a few but you guys do know he’s the head trainer for the Korean special forces right he’s not all show guys he actually practices what he preaches and can do what he’s demonstrating

Harley Wilson until he’s put to the test against evidence based combat systems, his system is not practical. If you have something revolutionary to challenge the existing system then you have to prove it. Hate to try and be a “one upper” but the most combat systems in the world utilize Muay Thai, Jiujitsu, Judo, wrestling, boxing, and probably some Krav Maga; all styles used in MMA. So when you jackasses say that MMA has too many rules, just remember those rules are in place so that people don’t die or are paralyzed; it only takes the one well placed hit to the cerebellum to render someone a quadriplegic.

He is not a fighter. He is a martial artist. His demonstrations show good instruction; as to how proper body mechanics can deliver speed, power and fluidity. He's an artist, so his demonstrations are more instructional. There's much here that even professional fighters could consult and learnt from. Admittedly, I also wish that he would make an example of his wisdom in a real spar - because, in most minds, that's where it matters. But Mike Tyson did not ask Cus D'amato to step into the ring to validate his knowledge. Granted, Cus had previous fight experience, but I don't think that absence of pedigree in another teacher means they don't necessarily have anything to teach you. Take for instance Ido Portal: his focus is very general, but no less fundamental - movement. Connor Mcgregor admits that he benefited greatly from his teachings.

The Ring is for Ego purposes, if you know what you're doing, you don't need to show it. The real fights happen outside of the ring and inside your own Soul. No holds bar. A trophy or a huge amount of money doesn't make you the best fighter. You probably want to see how he would apply his knowledge in a sparring match. And the fact that you want to see him in the ring says probably a lot about his skills, that you're enthusiastic about it to see it all applied. This guy in the ring, will never happen. It will always be 50/50 ego discussions. Not all of us get paid to make untested claims and showing off how good we are without actually proving it. That's sort of the point isn't it. I'm a programmer, but I would start frowning heavily if some guy starts selling courses on programming and pretending to be a self-proclaimed great programmer when I know he never actually built a production application. In other words; people give credit for what other people do, not to people who TAKE credit for what they didn't do... I think it's normal.

For everyone in the comment section this guy's fighting system is great for self defense and real combat situation. It is for ending fights before they start. It's definitely not for the ring or the octagon. Any trained fighter will take him out.

Amazing speed... his core must be as dense as depleted uranium to have that level of balance and power generation.... His system will be very helpful for mma cage fighters who have to fight 5 rounds over a long period of time.. it will reduce injury risks and increase aerobic durability...

People that dont train anything dont understand the concepts of what's going on. Most all martial arts originate from India "I think" and spread and evolved into different styles so they all have similarities and some of the same techniques.

I just love how you people can't even read. It said " it's not a martial art, it's a method" If don't know what that means let me make it easy for ya. It means, you can utilize these methods to make your own techniques better. But then again, I don't know why I even bother with people who can't even read a couple of lines.
