Punching mechanics without gloves change a lot, you cant hit as hard and as often (specially to the head) without risking breaking your hand

True BKB was way back in 1800’s , before the queensbury rules! Im not saying boxing is innefective by any means! But if youre not wearing a glove and youre not 100% sure you can connect to the chin/nose/ temples a líver shot is your best option to keep your hands safe :)

That was not hesitation, that was Pac pulling back to keep the fight going. If that liver punch had hit, it would've been bye bye for DK Yoo. Also there was one other point in the fight when Pac actually took it seriously, and throw a serious overhand with ill intent when DK was against the ropes. It missed but if it had hit it would've been night night

Pacquiao went easy on him for 4 rounds , but then there became a point where pacquiao wanted to end the fight in explosive fashion. Which he did but the reff ruled all knockdown as a slip which it wasn't.

Good video….my 2 cents is that Boxing IS a martial art just as wrestling is -Boxing and wrestling are cornerstones of MMA along with Muay Thai and BJJ-Mixed Martial Arts I’ll take a good right cross or left hook that you can learn in quick order to turn someone’s lights out over having to spend years trying to learn some dim Mak hocus pocus. I agree that DK’s boxing did improve but his boxing isn’t even on the amateur golden gloves level whereas Pacquiao has been world class for decades- I don’t think anyone ever expected DK to ever be competitive -but hey at least it was for charity and DK can say he got in the ring with one of the greatest of all time as a selling point -for better or for worse

Here's a thing. If you step outside your comfort zone without ample enough time to prepare and build your self credibility enough to be worthy of that fight, you have no business to be in it, especially fighting against the one who's considered the best in that zone. What's the point of imagining a scenario of a champion of one sport competing in another sport and losing? You said it yourself. Pacquiao is a boxer, not a muay Thai fighter so and he and Buakaw have no official reason to step into the same ring. You have experience as an amateur boxer, why not fight Pacquiao yourself?
