Never seen this show before, but I must say, it made me smile on occasion. Not outright laugh but I can see this working for me in the '90s. Hasn't age well though. I'd say B+ for effort.

I don't know. They could have made the plot that Kiddy Kong was the future leader of the island and that Donkey was his Knight or something to keep up the "protector of the island" stuff he does. It would give K. Rool other plans like trying to influence Kiddy and kidnap him while Donkey and Diddy were forced to save him. Heck it would give Dixie more to do at least since I barely remember her in this series much.

It would've been a better send off, I suppose. If Beast Wars and other cartoons could have actual endings to the series, why couldn't they have done something better than a damn flashback episode? Mind you, from what I understand the show's second season was hit with all kinds of problems, including less episodes. Perhaps they just didn't have the time.

Stevie Vallance (Mouse from Reboot) did the voice of Candy Kong as well as the singing... Just FYI! OT: I'm working on a web series that, i'm hoping, is equal to this show in terms of quality. When you think of how much goes into making a 2hr feature (like Shrek 1), this group did quite a lot to produce one 30 min episode a week. As dated as it is... It's still a lot better than *Food Fight!*

Not sure what the 4 weddings were. It looked like there was at most 2, but even then it was just the one. Maybe the other two are figurative, like a marriage between K. Rool and the crystal coconut? A symbolic marriage of song and dance? Or I'm reading too deeply into the title for a children's TV show with sub-par script and dialogue. But then again, is it really for kids? Sometimes some of these adult themes give me pause.
