DKC GBC - Temple Tempest in

TAS is 60.29. This run is pretty much perfect given known strats, I went for everything and grinded multiple tens of hours until I got it. I achieved several 1:01's but they weren't good enough. I'm going to give a detailed strat breakdown to document the complexity of this run and because at the moment, I don't think I'll ever improve this.
I take gravity glitch at 0:08 to carry the boosted roll over the pit.
There is an aggressive route at 0:12 that requires a number of things to work to save time. Rolling under the rope doesn't save time on its own, but it sets up the next roll nicely. The jump at 0:15 has to land in the right position to set up the next roll. This roll has to hit the first rat, then extend immediately before hitting the second rat in order to store an extended roll. The positioning on this has only a few pixels of tolerance. You need to jump into the rope before the second extended roll is burned, but late enough that you jump directly into the rope. If this roll is too far left, you can't jump directly into the rope without losing the stored extended roll. If it's too far right, you hit the second rat before extending and don't get the stored extended roll. The stored extended roll can be used under the next Millstone and a few frames of stamina should be recovered immediately afterwards. The entire sequence saves something like 0.2 if it's done correctly, but doesn't save time if any component of it is missing.
Rolling from the third banana at 0:28 ensures you hit all 3 Kritters, otherwise you miss the last one, but hitting the last one generates some lag so it barely makes a difference. The lag does make the rope jump a little easier.
It's possible to roll under the first rope at 0:35 but jumping off it is faster because ropes give you a big horizontal boost. Taking the second bonus would only lose about half a second.
The classic Temple giga: It's necessary to NOT have gravity glitch, and roll from slightly left of center of the platform to be able to hit the N box and have the second roll extend before hitting the first Kritter.
Rolling and jumping over the Millstone at 0:43 is very inconsistent due to the tire. I've only recently started using this strat in Any%, but a safer version of it.
Roll-walks space the next section nicely.
The rolls off the tire platforms are extremely inconsistent. You can only roll when you're standing on the platform next to the tire, so you need to land on the corner. This requires precise positioning and timing. It's fastest to roll down into the pit and jump from below, but more consistent to jump high and land from above, which is what I do in Mine Cart Madness.
Roll-jumps space the next section perfectly, with a ledge extend over the tire.
The ledge extend on the downwards staircase can be done consistently by positioning the roll from the end of the 3rd stair. The end of the level is straightforward.
1:01.5 was my goal and I achieved it. I don't see 1:00 ever being possible.
