@objectivityworldview Жыл бұрын
@@eligernler2840 And, of course, you missed the whole point. The statement was based upon the POSSESSIONS and STATUS QUO and not the horrible deeds that were passed down from generation to generation. It's not a racist thing, but a consensus thing. The vast majority of those who are classified as Caucasian (or "white") Americans by the so called 'race' system have their acquired possessions (large homes, money, land, privileged access, preferential treatment, etc.) because of the history of their forefathers who made a living based upon the involuntary servitude of African slaves. In America, go to almost any news stand or store across the country and what do you see mostly? Caucasians on the front of magazines. On TV, who do you mostly see in commercials? Caucasian. So, it's not racist claim, it's a statistical fact. So, if you are Caucasian (or so called "white"), just be thankful that you are in a position in America where only the color (or lack thereof) of your skin matters and not the content of your character.

Am halfway through this interview and honestly had to pause and comment on DL Hughley. This cat's perspective reveals the depth of his well informed, totally opinionated, thoughtful and thoroughly honest revelations. His ability to utilize personal experience, historical supposition and command of current events, trends and relevant data give credence to his statements... What I admire the most is his candid "real talk" and his willingness to share and expound on his wealth of knowledge and wrap it all up with, "...well this is me and if you don't like it, agree with it, or even respect it, oh well all you have to do is turn me off..." the peterman...
